This is Suraj Bushan Gupta. I had my appointment for passport reissue on 9th March 2023 at 3:30 pm at Passport Office, Aquaf Trust Building, Opposite Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir.

I'm a 63 years old and I had one of the worst experience in my life during the process. The two employees there at B1 and B2 counter have no manners to talk to another person let alone a senior citizen. They used foul language and trash talk with me when I asked to take retake the photo for passport. She said "ab filter laga kar click karen" (Should I use filter now to click your picture) and after clicking said "ab lag gaya filter", (Now filter is applied). When I told her that I'm your father's age and your way of talking is hurting me she said "laage bura main kya karun, aap apna kaam karwane aaye ho" (I don't care if you feel bad, you are here for your own work). Rest all employees were good just these two were horrible.

It's my humble request to please take some strict actions against these two employees. The female employee has no manners and she should not be working in govt offices where you have to deal with people.

Pls do the needful as my passport file vide file number: SG[protected] submitted to your office by SP office Srinagar under chalan no-183 dated[protected] but due some unknown reason it still shows pending for verification
Pls look into the matter and forward it to passport office ASAP.

Almost 8 weeks have gone by since my application date[protected] . I have been tracking the status online on a regular basis and it has not moved to the next stage.

5th july now and CID hasn't forwarded my details.

I am asked by the Australian Embassy to submit PCC within 28 days. Immediately upon receiving the mail, I made an appointment with the Jammu PSK ARN[protected] after confirming from the Customer Helpline executives that in order to obtain Pcc, I need not add my spouse details in the passport and get my passport reissued. I made the payment of the requisite fee and the appointment was confirmed for 19th of April, 2021. Upon reaching there, I was straightaway told to get my passport renewed and then PCC will be issues. I told very politely that according to the latest order, PCC can be obtained without adding spouse name. I had carried my marriage certificate with me, but my appointment was cancelled and no money was refunded. I was even told there to apply for PCC as a single/ unmarried applicant which I refused for. I donot want to give the wrong information at any point of time to the Passport Office. Now, that I have mailed the Jammu RPO the link of the updated Indian passport website that clearly shows that I am right, I am not receiving any reply. Forget about phone, nobody picks up at the jammu PSK/RPO after making hundreds of calls at their allotted time. My 1 week has already been wasted. These people just donot realise the value of applicant's time. Also, without appointment, one can not visit the PSK. Please issue me a new appointment making adjusment of already paid fee by me which was not returned. Who do I need to go to? I need to submit PCC immediatly.

Passport application of re-issuance (File number - gz[protected] was submitted at passport seva kendra, ghaziabad, u. P. Verification from police and cid department is already completed and sent to sp office, poonch. Sp office had also sent the clearance on 9th feb, 2019 and sent the same to cid head quarters, jammu. Now, verification clearance is pending with them for more than 15 days. Please expedite the process and sent the confirmation to rpo ghaziabad as soon as possible.

I kamal singh applied for reissue of passport on 19/09/2018 at jammu regional passport office, gandhinagar, jammu. My application file number is jm[protected]. Police verification of my permanent address which is also my current address as clearly stated in my application took place during third week after submission of my application in my presence. The police man asked for documents like birth certificate. Adhaar card, graduation certificates and i submitted all these documents signing them in his presence. He collected all these documents, took signature on a application and told that the police verification is over.
Now, last week, i received a message "current address police report is pending". As police verification is complete, kindly look into the matter as already more than 1 month has passed since submission of the application.

I have applied for passport on 15/05/18 at rpo jammu vide file no. Jm[protected] in the name of tsering dorjay, r/o muthi jammu. I was already in possession of passport earlier and the validity was expired and again applied.
Since i am residing at jammu for the last more than 25years, still the delivery of my passport is awaited. Your good self will kindly appreciate that a reasonable period has been passed but my passport has not been issued till date. You are requested to kindly look into the matter. Scanned copy of acknowledgement letter is enclosed as attached file for your reference.

Reissue passport - i have applied reissue passport on dated 13/06/18. My file no jm[protected]. My police verification are complete 19/07/18 but pro office dont issue me passport because they are show me two format one format is complete but other format miss print my signature and they resenet the verification. But again verification time period more then 2months. I already 2 time verification complete. I also apply between three months. I have no more than wait for this verification. I have present in the verification time. This is not my mistake. I have already signature on the verification.in psk office nobody listen my problem. They also harshed me the cause reissue passport. I loss the job. My family condition is very critical. All family depend on me. I have signed off last 23oct2017 and that time selected in company but psk dont issue me passport while this is not my mistake in the verification. This passport is urgent me because i already selected in the company for visa i have no let of money if you belive me i sent my account no. Plz help me sir thanks this kindness

I had applied for renew my passport in newzealand on[protected] and my old passport number is g9139606 and submitted a online file for new passport having file number is nzwp0018318 and i informed my family about my passport verification detail and verification was done having number phs/pp/ns/18/44 dated:[protected] and when i call passport office india they said my verification is pending by cid office canal road jammu.. I urgently need the passport.

I have submitted all document and done with the police verification in a local police station but still on passport seva kendra showing my status that police verification is pending at sp office. I am getting confused with it please confirm me. Even i m done with poilce verification.. Its almost 5 months now... I also wnt to passport offc they said they did not got my file even.. Plz wat should i do now.. Its vry. Urgent.

My passport is pending for the last 04 months, kindly explain why is it taking such a long time for a new passport .cid office is giving me wrong information, they are saying that my file is pending in ssp office udhampur, but i wold like to inform that i have no connection with udhampur for the whole of my life ..
i am very annoyed with this lathargy form the organisation ...plz do the needful asap...

My son sughan pandita having indian passport no:j2235302 issued from regional passport office srinagar has applied for its reissue and change of address from, consulate general of india, houston texas under refernce nousah00651416 dated 04.04.2016. However after a period of one month the said passort port has not been recieved sofar.In reply to the mail dated 05.05.2016 the counsulate has replied as under

(Dear applicant,

Yours is a reference case. A reference to jammu has already been sent. Passport will be issued as and when we receive clearance from them.

This is by far the worst passport office in India.

I really don't know what is wrong with the people working here. My sister has been asked to produce documents (1st time University MA marklist and 2nd time 10th Diploma form the J&K Board) which I really don't know what they need for. They sent her back first time saying University Marklist is needed, which bydway is not mentioned anywhere on any website or anywhere else as...

Pl.note I have applied for a passport at RPO Chandigarh on May 30, 2014, I am working in Chandigarh from 2011 and my native is in Jammu my File Reference Number : CH[protected]. I have confirmed from SSP office Jammu and CID office Jammu they have forwarded my clear report ( Challan No. 144JK 26 Serial No: 81) to the PSK Jammu .The status report says that Police Verification Report for your passport application is under review at Regional Passport Office. Pl. update the status so that my application will process further it is on hold due to this report. I need passport urgently . Pl. do the needfull on high priority.

I am not sure of the Authenticity of this site.. But i am desperate to have this complaint heard as i don't know where else to get the info. I have applied for the passport of my parents 7 months back and for last 3 months the online status shows as police report has not been received. I don't know who is accountable as need to know what is really happening to the passport documents.

I have applied for a passport at RPO jammu in setember 2007, almost one year ago.
The status report says that the police verification has not been received. Whereas the police verification has been done four months ago. I am an artist{sculptor}. Still so much delay. Is there any accountability?
