Dear Sir/Madam,
We applied for renewal of the passport on 27th January 2026 and the police verification was done on 6th Feb 2026. Since then the status of the application is showing as "Police verification for passport application is under review at the Regional Passport office". I have been trying to reach the RPO, but no luck.
Could you please get the concern checked and help in issuing the passport at the earliest.

Incident with TCS employee who do the verification at entry of the office. He was keep following to lady who was looking for passport renewal with documents provided. Initially she has copies only for the proof declared in the application and requested to give some time to produce the original address proof evidences. He was rejecting for everything, also there are applications for Children of same parent and same address proof was approved...

This incident is of 31 jan 2019.
Staff at parking lot of begumpet passport office, hyderabad are charging rs 50/- per hour for car parking... Usually it takes a minimum of 2-3 hours in making the passport... Hence, they are charging at least 100-150 rs from each person.
Moreover, they do not give any printed receipt for parking... Instead, they give a white blank slip, on which they just write the timing at which the vehicle...

I have applied for passport to RPO., HYDERABAD on 7.7.2009 vide file no.W 200229. After applying for passport on 18.7.2009 I have joined in IIT,MUMBAY to persue my M.Tech. and I am going to complete my studies next month and join in an organisation on 28.7.2011 at Pune. I have to travel in a week but my passport is not yet dispatched still it is in review status. I went RPO office but they asked me to wait for it to change the status. Please help me to push the application.

Hello Sir/Ma'am, I applied for fresh passport and Police verification was done on 3rd August 2023 and got a message that police has submitted clear report, but still now the passport is not dispatched and in the status showing as "police verification report is under review at regional passport office" . Tried to contact the RPO HYDERABAD but they do not lift the calls and do not respond, there is an emergency need for the passport but they are not responding but still there is no response and status is also not changed . My file number is HY[protected] and Date of birth is 05th sept 2002 please solve the issue to the earliest, there is emergency need of passport.
Please Help Me Sir/Ma'am, to resolve my issue.

I have submitted passport application for spouse name and ECNR IN 2019 IN MY PASSPORT AFTER Couple of months I received a letter from RPO SECUNDERABAD...I visited RPO Secunderabad and I was told to visit policy section...I met 1 lady in policy section and she has collected all of old passports and asked me that I m holding two passports which was completely incorrect and same thing I explained her and afterwards I went to my local PS To lodge a lost complaint of my Delhi issued passport in 1995
I gave notification in 2 local newspaper and filed a police compaint and Got a lost certificate from local police station and submitted with POLICY SECTION..
But till now neither I got old passports from RPO SECUNDERABAD nor they r accepting my new applications for re issue of passport...Everytime they r giving some lame excuses...I m 50+ and at this age policy section lady is demanding DATE OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE Which sounds very artificial I shall be highly obliged i[censored] can Assist me in this regard

my police verfication was done from both the states, ( telangana ( current & permanent address ) & nagaland (birth place address ), and still re issue of passport is on hold at rpo hyderabad, 1st police verfication was done in the month of may by telangana police which went clear and the second ploice verfication was done by nagaland police in the month of july and it went clear too.
Can i have the update when the rpo hyderabad is re-issuing my passport as its been almost 3 months without any update and whenever i visit rpo hyderabad for enquiry, they have no answer regarding my passport. I have to go out of the country for work purposes and i am need of the passport asap.
Kindly look into the matter.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the delay in my passport application process at the Regional Passport Office Hyderabad. This delay has not only caused me significant inconvenience but has also resulted in the delay of my travel plans and work visa application.

I had submitted my passport application at the Regional Passport Office Hyderabad on 01.03.2023 and was informed that it would take around 15 days to process the application. However, it has been well over 30days and counting and I am yet to receive any update on the status of my application. This delay has put me in a very difficult situation, as I am supposed to travel abroad for work on 14.04.2023, and the delay in the passport application process has put my work visa application at risk.

Despite this situation, I have visited the Regional Passport Office Hyderabad a total of four times in the past few weeks, in an attempt to inquire about the status of my passport application. However, each time I have been told that there is no update on the status and that I need to wait for further communication from their end. This has caused a significant amount of inconvenience and expense on my part, as I have had to take time off from work and make multiple trips to the passport office.

The lack of communication and transparency from their end has only added to my frustration. As a responsible citizen, I had followed all the necessary procedures and provided all the required documents for my passport application. However, the inefficiency and delay in the passport application process have caused me undue stress and financial loss. I request you to look into this matter urgently and ensure that my passport application is processed and dispatched at the earliest.

I have applied for PCC police clearance certificate it has been now more then 13 days. Police verification has been done and A Clear report has been sent to regional passport office Secundrabad but till i have not received it. Kindly go through my application as I'm in need very urgent for pcc report i have send to Indian embassy for visa stamping.

My wife has applied for the fresh passport on the 8 th Aug 2022, however she hasn't received it yet. It is over 3 months now.

At first the police officer who came home for the verification, did not take her 10th std certificate when she offered it to him, he said 12th was sufficient, but we got a letter asking us to send the 10 std certificate to the regional office.

Later we received another letter asking to provide the adhar card that shows the green tick mark, we sent it by post. But no response, if they have received it or not? File, HY[protected] "passport application is under review at the regional passport office.

Please let us know what else do we need to send you to make this happen?
