I have applied my passport on 5/01/2011 and all process was completed successfully.It was showing that my passport will despatch on 12th september 2011.but on 6th sep 2011 onwards they change the status as"Due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of passport has been delayed and will now be despatch with in a week's time".but it's already 5 month over till the same status is on the gov portal www.passportstatus.nic.in...

Typically, they ask you to login 6 PM. From 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM it is impossible to get the server connected. Unlike other states Kolkata Passport Office last updated the Passport application status on[protected] and today is 15/10/2011. I guess these people are still enjoying durga puja festival. But in the holiday list there are vacation of only 2 days. Other states usually update it in every 3-4 days. In the kolkata passport office webpage an email id "rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in" and a phone number are given for any enquiry or complaint....

but 10 days before when i checked that i found police report has received and now showing this message that police report has not been received...
please do something about this.
