[Resolved]  Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) — Not yet received the passport through tatkal scheme

Dear Sir/ Madam, I had applied for my passport through tatkaal scheme in Mangalore Passport Seva Kendra (File no: BN[protected]; Receipt No: BN4F[protected]). I have submitted all the required documents at the Mangalore Passport Seva Kendra along with Annexure-F & Annexure-I on[protected]Tuesday). I have paid tatkaal fee Rs.3500/= at PSK Mangalore. I have taken the Annexure-F from Tahashildar, Karkala, Udupi district. At PSK Mangalore, Officers have verified all my documents with originals and they told me that confirmation of Annexure-F from issuing authority (Tahashildar, Karkala, Udupi district) is required. As per the procedure PSK will send the Annexure-F to the issuing authority over fax and he has to confirm the Annexure-F by putting his signature and seal. After confirming it, issuing authority has to send the confirmation over fax on the same day. But on 08-10-13 landline and fax of issuing authority was dead because of heavy rain. So staff member of PSK didn’t send the Annexure-F over fax to issuing authority on 08-10-13. Staff member of PSK sent the Annexure-F over fax to issuing authority on[protected]Next day). But on that day issuing authority was out of station. He was in Bangalore on 09-10-13. He had gone to Bangalore for official work. On 08-10-13 evening, He left Karkala and he came back to Karkala on 10-10-13 Morning. I have informed this matter to Staff member of PSK on 09-10-13. He told me that issuing authority can send the confirmation of Annexure-F by[protected]Thursday). Annexure-F issuing authority ie Tahashildar, Karkala, Udupi district returned to karkala from Bangalore on 10-10-13 Morning and confirmed the Annexure-F and sent the confirmation over fax to PSK, Mangalore on 10-10-13 at 10-05 AM. But Officers of PSK are not ready to accept the confirmation. They are telling that he should have sent it on 08-10-13 only. I have explained the actual problem to them over phone (Contact Number of PSK, Mangalore is[protected] so many times. But they didn’t care me. They are telling that we can not do anything now and we have put your pass port into normal mode. We will send your file to SP Office, Udupi for pre-verification. They have sent my file to SP office, Udupi for pre-police verification. I called to PSK, Mangalore On 15-10-13 and asked them that if I clear the the police enquiry then how much time will you take to issue the passport. They told me that your passport application is put into normal mode and we will issue the passport after 15 days once you clear the police enquiry. I got shocked because of this reply and I am hereby submitting the complaint against PSK Mangalore. I requested the staff member of PSK, Mangalore so many times over phone (Contact Number of PSK, Mangalore is[protected]. I asked him that if the person is out of station how can he send the confirmation of Annexure-F over fax. But he was not ready to understand the situation. I told them that I have paid the tatkaal fee. How can you put my passport application into normal mode after receiving tatkaal fees. But they didn’t care me. They are telling that we can not do anything, your passport will be granted in normal scheme. But in track application status, it is showing my application status as Passport is under review at RPO. Staff member of PSK Mangalore only told that confirmation of annexure-F can be sent to PSK mangalore over fax by[protected]Thursday). Issuing authority had sent the confirmation on 10-10-13 at 10-05 AM. But officers of PSK Mangalore are not ready to accept it. Taking money without proving any service is purely cheating the consumers. It is really quite shocking to see a government agency doing such things. I have selected for Ethiopian university. I have to send the passport to them to get my visa and air tickets within a week. Otherwise I will miss an opportunity to go abroad. So it is very urgent. I kindly request you for your help/suggestions in getting my Passport within 2 days through tatkaal scheme.
