I made transaction of 5 lac on 17th july 2020 & merchant have charged me 1.99% for tdr instead of 1.45%. As its hdfc money back credit card & as per the hdfc bank, this card bin number belongs to normal credit card. Still the merchant have charged 1.99% instead of 1.45%. I am the customer of paywiff since 2016. I never checked the tdr charges in the last 5 years but i am very disappointed now that merchant was continuously charging me the wrong tdr % for the normal card. I have got the confirmation from hdfc bank as well that starting 6 digit of the hdfc money back credit card number bin belongs to normal category but merchant is denying that its normal card. I have no other option now. Its my humble request kindly look into the matter and do the needful asap & take the legal action against the merchant & put the penalty of rs. 1 lac.
