[Resolved]  Pearl Holidays — Amount of Rs 6995 deducted from credit card

This is Basant Mundhra from Kolkata, PERAL HOLIDAYS staffs gave wrong information that the credit card limit will be increased and You just need to verify card. But when the card was verified, They cheated and deducted an amount of Rs.6995 on account of holiday package we have not asked for. We spoke to the concerned person, Mr. Sumit Vadona (Contact Number- [protected]) of Pearl Holiday regarding this matter and he accepted that the representative has done the mistake. He said whenever we receive the holiday package, we can just return it and the amount will be refunded back to the credit card.When i tried to call back on those numbers they where switched off. They are not refunding back the amount from last 3 months.

They are fraud, they have played same with many other.
you are very correct, they don't receive the call, if they say we will be sending you the details don't believe they wont be replying you on time.

In My Case:

I communicated this to my HDFC bank -> Asked them to block my Credit Card => raised dispute against that transaction.

I was communicated to the Pearl's email keeping HDFC customer service in CC in each and every email so that the bank also gets updates regularly.
I didn't agreed till end to the facilities they are providing. They said we have shipped your package, but when I asked for the tracking number of the docket, no one replied, after asking for tracking number 3 time they gave it but according to the number I tracked on DTDC tracking site, it showed that the package is already delivered . But I never received, after fighting for 20 days with DTDC office (3 different office). Finally they gave me the email note that the Docket is lost. The same after communicating to the bank and Pearl.

I got the acceptance of cancellation of Offer, which I showed to Bank and the amount was refunded in 15 days after.

NOTE:
1. Please block your card now
2. Raise dispute against the transaction
3. Ask Pearl on email to provide email reply of cancellation.
4. If they say that it is shipped ask them to cancel it and also ask for Tracking Number. Track you docket regularly take follow up from pear-bank-Courier.
5. Bank will take 45 days from the dispute application. But if you provide them any confirmation of cancellation from the Pearl. Bank will be able to help you in faster way.

This is going to be very long and tough fight- . Please provide you email id to me. I will forward you the email conversation I had with all these fellows. (My email ID - [protected]@gmail.com)

I might have spent around 80 hours for this issue and around 700/- rupees of Phone calls(As I had the office phone so nothing went from my pocket). Specially with the DTDC guys, I went to DTDC office and even tried to be aggressive, then only they replied.
