Pepe Jeans London — Extra vat charged on mrp that was inclusive of all taxes

I bought 4 jeans of pepe jeans london showroom from dlf city center mall, chandigarh during the buy 2 get 2 offer. The mrp of the four jeans are rs 2599, 2599, 2499 and 2399. So effectively i should have paid rs 5198 inclusive all taxes but the store charged me 5% extra vat on the bill. So i ended up paying rs 5458. They increased the mrp of 2 shirts from rs 2599 to rs 2728. 95 each and hence increasing the total value.
