[Resolved]  Pepperfry — Misleading Advertising- Cashback Scam

With regards to the Pepperfry Flash Sale using the coupon code "Flash"
The advertised message says 100% cashback (see first image).
I even asked the Pepperfry customer service if there is any catch or hidden clause before making the purchase on order.
And I was told there is none and that within 24 hours the refund would be made on my pepperfry wallet.
Tried looking for the terms and conditions which I could not find anywhere - I'm sure its hidden somewhere on the app - but I was told it should be at the bottom of the home page, so I looked here and in some other parts of the app. Could not find it.

Now after the so-called "cashback" has been credited I'm told
It expires in 7 days
It can only be used against 20% of the item or for INR 2500 per item - whichever is less.
Which means to use 16, 838 credit (supposed to be cashback) I have to buy items worth 84, 190 or more from Pepperfry.

This is not what "cashback" means. This is a discount coupon with a Lock In and using terms like cashback is just misleading the consumer.

This is extremely disappointing from a trusted company like pepperfry, and is the kind of behavior one expects from a small scam website, not Pepperfry.
