Issue: Order delivered by a delivery person from Pepperfry, On checking the order at time of delivery mentioned that the screws in Chair are all rusted, the leather body on chair is all having damping smell. This product is old and i cannot accept it. The delivery person said please accept it and i will raise a complaint from my side, and pepperfry will do inspection and will replace it. I agreed to it and accepted the piece. No one did any follow up. After couple of days, when i reached to pepperfry, they arrange a technician to do inspection. Technican came and saw the issue and said, pepperfry will get back. They will do the exchange or else return the product. Its been more than 5 days now, pepperfry has not updated anything on the status. I initiated the refund in the application and emailed them couple of times but no response. They keep stating on Chat with Agent the Case manager will get back if you give miss call or something, i did a thousand times but no one gets back. Product is still with me in rotten condition and my money is stuck and i have no where else to go.

Issue: Order was packed in box and delivered by some delivery person. When unboxed, found that the product is in damaged condition. The Lamp rod is bend. I raised complaint for return for this order as well. No response from pepperfry and Case Manager did not returned back at all. Even after contacting pepperfry customer service and tried couple of contacts, no one is responding. On 9th Feb, i found another contact[protected], reached to a person, on mentioning the issue, they said pepperfry is not responsible for refund. Pepperfry has paid the money to merchant and they are not responsible. The product had 1 year manufacturing warranty as stated on website but pepperfry is giving such lame excuses and not giving any responses.

A total sum of 17950Rs is gone in vain. Both products are in damaged condition and pepperfry is not even daring to follow up or work on the case. My money is all stuck and feels like stolen by this company. Its a clear case of fraud and cheating.

    Hi Everyone,
    Pls do not make any purchase from this fraud pepperfry, I bought an item from them which was damaged I submitted return request with photos and it got accepted. I got couple of text message of items collection also got mails, to my misery this pick never happened. The greatness about the portal is you cant call customer support you just give miss call and keep on giving they will never call back. Send mails they raise case which is not going to be looked anytime.
    I had my bad luck pls do not get trapped.

    Still waiting to be heard from them wrote mail to grievanceofficer also, all bogus,

      Since I have faced this problem i want to make everyone aware of the fact that pepperfry want their customers to totally rely on the picture of the website and buy the product because once you receive the product and it will not fulfill your expectation there is no chance they will entertain your return or exchange.
      in todays time when more than half of the population is buying online pepperfry doesn't provide customers a chance to return or exchange the product in case the customer doesn't like the quality of the product when compared to the wedsite picture .
      i bought 1 cushion cover set, 1 3 seater sofa cover and 2 seater sofa cover set from pepperfry and upon the receipt i doesn't like the quality of the products compared to the pictures on the website.
      when i purchased the products a 7 day return policy was mentioned on the website, but when i made a return within 24 hours of receipt they decline the same saying we don't entertain quality and look flaws
      only if the product is damaged we will replace or return it.
      Basically pepperfry wants their customer to keep whatever they ordered at once bcoz further they will not entertain any returns and exchange.

        We had ordered and received above...but there were issues with quality and final product. Immediate request for return was accepted but now, since last 10 days...they are not taking it back...multiple complaints to customer care have not yielded any success...wondering specially since its a well known company ???

          Order No.[protected]FM1962274-S-PM18057 dated 14th Nov 2022.
          I ordered Three Items - Poster Bed, Mattress, Mattress Protector. There was a delayed delivery and damaged bed was delivered. For taking a decision to pick up the damaged bed it took more than 20 days and was picked up on 22nd Dec. I asked for a replacement for which they told they cannot provide. Since they were not in a position to provide a replacement i informed them to pick up the mattress and mattress protector which i purchased as a set. Customer Care team informed that they can pick up mattress and mattress protector only if there is a damage. Inspite of my best efforts the unqualfied customer care team could not understand that they had given me a damaged bed, Unable to provide replacement and still they want me to use the mattress and mattress protector. I tried explaining to the teams that if the mattress is not taken back you are actually forcing me to limit my options when i am buying a new bed since the new bed has to be purchased as per the dimensions of mattress. There is a Grievance officer who does not understand what a grievance is. You write a mail to the Grievance officer and response will be again from the same Unqualified Customer care team. On a day to day basis we interact with several customer care centers for Services. This is the worst Customer Care team i have ever seen. They do not respond timely. Any decision will require a minimum 72 hours of time. My advise to Buyers is if you want to get your Brain fried you buy from Pepper Fry.

            We have raised 3 complaints with the Pepperfry company for a refund of a cot ordered on 19th April 2022
            A plank on the cot is breaking continuously and when raised a complaint all the times it is being rejected as a usage issue though its under the warranty period
            Pepperfry has cheated us with the quality and service
            Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
            we have initiated the return in a month as we faced the issue
            The plank broke twice after the purchase and the team pepperfry claims it to be the usage issue, a carpenter from the pepperfry also visited the site and claimed it to be manufacturing defect for which we received the mail too and also the carpenter confirmed the same with the case manager Rohan over the call
            After all this the team pepperfry close our case stating its a usage issue
            this is soo unethical and rude from the pepperfry company.
            The cot is under warranty and they are denying to replace/ refund or repair the cot
            what kind of a service is this company pepperfry providing

            We have placed a return for the cot on 16th July as we see that the product quality was bad
            we have raised 3 complaints on the plank breakage and we told that it was a usage issue
            the cot is under warranty and is being denied every time we raise a complaint
            on Dec 3rd 2022 there was a carpenter visit and we were notified it as a manufacturing defect for which we received a mail and also we had a conference call with the case manager Rohan and carpenter on 3rd Dec at 7:03PM where the carpenter cleared it was manufacturing defect, still after all these the case manager Rohan and tea pepperfry closed the issue saying its a usage issue on 12th of Dec
            This is heights of cheating by the pepperfry team

            Got a call from the customer care of Pepperfry and was told that the bed was damaged and not a manufacturing defect, they even denied doing a repair
            what kind of cheating company is pepperfry who dumps their products at home and leave
            they do not provide post sales service too
            A street hawker/vendor is far better than the pepperfry as the street hawker/vendor at least tries to repair when the sold product is damaged
            Got a call from the customer care of Pepperfry and was told that the bed was damaged and not a manufacturing defect, they even denied doing a repair

              Refusal to pickup return

              We have been trying to return this product for a month now after return was approved and we were told it would be picked up. This is the worst service I have experienced in quite some time. Totally inept. 4 times now they have promised me a pickup and REFUSED to come get it. Complete lack of communication and total lies from the reps. Just give me my money back and i will throw it in the trash if you dont want it back......

              Defective Sofas Rome 1 Seater Sofa In Yellow Colour By Arra 308543501

              I purchased 2 sofa chairs and when these were delivered that very moment the assembly was done. The very 1st chair was defective as the legs were unbalanced and taken for repair. We were unhappy with the product and wanted to return both the chairs. Regarding the 2nd chair screw/s on it has/have been loosely put and the leg has marks of the screw driver having slipped and is dented. This chair was the 2nd chair to be assembled by pepperfry...

              I purchased 2 sofa chairs for a total of Rs.26094 and when these were delivered that very moment the assembly was done. The very 1st chair was defective as the legs were unbalanced and taken for repair. We were unhappy with the product and wanted to return both the chairs. Regarding the 2nd chair screw/s on it has/have been loosely put and the leg has marks of the screw driver having slipped and is dented. This chair was the 2nd chair to be assembled by pepperfry team after the 1st one was having balancing issues. The screws have been loosely fitted or seems that something out of the usual material used, has been put in between to avoid the chair being unsteady. I really feel cheated. This is completely unacceptable. Both the chairs are defective and need to be returned.However the retailer is so far not providing any resolution except repair. They already repaired the 1st sofa and delivered which still has balancing issues still even after repair. The seller seems unwilling to take the chairs and refund and is attempting to repair the defect of the brand new unused chair giving a terrible experience to a customer. Hence I have reached out to complain for a quick and fair resolution.

                I have ordered Martin 5 seated corner sofa ( order ID[protected] on 30.10.2022. But Pepper fry unable to deliver my product by the scheduled time on 17.11.2022. And surprisingly they have cancelled my product on 11.11.2022 and sent me a message that my product has been cancelled and they have processed for refund my money and it will be credited to original source by 7-10 working days. But already 10 working days is over and the amount has not been credited to my account yet. Regarding this issue, everyday I am contacting with their customer care executive through chat and I have sent mail to their grievance cell but they are unable to resolve the issue. Just they are saying- Refund has been processed and it will be credited..Being a Branch Manager of State Bank of India, I know how much time/ how many days money can be transferred/refunded. Firstly, they have canceled my product without my consent, after keeping my money almost 12 days and now everyday I have to spent time to recover my hard earned money. Is this the service of an organisation like Pepper fry ?
                Anyway, I have never expected this type of service from their end. I request you please arrange to refund the amount to my source account number [protected] (NAME- BEAUTYHOLIC, SBI, IFSC-SBIN0000122) at the earliest.

                  Bought 2 wardrobes and 2nd day raised issue related to the issue. Coordinated with Multiple representatives of Pepperfry, shared videos and photos of the damaged area but no resolution provided. Every new day they assign the case to the new representative but no solution.

                  1st Wardrobe: Mika broken at handle of the middle door and handle hole is at wrong place. Scratches are there on the wardrobe door.

                  2nd Wardrobe:
                  Middle Door: Handle hole is on wrong place.
                  Right Corner Door: Crack on the upper corner.
                  Along with these multiple scratches are there on all the doors

                    Not Updating my product status and no reply for Mail from Pepperfry Team.

                    Hi,

                    I had placed an order for Tychee 2 Door Wardrobe in Walnut Finish (Quantity - 1) product from Pepperfry app on November 4th @ 5PM. As per the estimated deliver date promised by Pepperfry was on 18th of November. But still in app it is showing its last tracking update was 10th November which was reached in Goa. After that no status update was found. Regarding same i had dropped mail to pepperfry team and there is no response...

                    I have ordered a chair on 15/10/22 with delivery by 1/11/22.

                    As of 7/11/22, I have not received the item and after sending many emails and speaking to customer service, all I get is "delayed delivery, wait 72 hours" email with no followup whatsoever.

                    I want the item delivered with a precise date of delivery and not excuses from the courier/Pepperfry.

                        I ordered a bed (Rs.39000) from Pepperfry after being misled by the company about the 25% cashback, which they claim to be equivalent to as many rupees, but tell you nowhere that they expire within 7 days and can't be redeemed fully in subsequent orders (only 25% can be redeemed each time).

                        As soon as I realised this pathetically sly scheme, I tried to cancel the order, but they are changing me 2.5% of my order value (Rs.975), despite the cancellation being done minutes after the transaction! On top of that, they claim that the money will be refunded to the original source within 2 weeks. I've paid through credit card, why should I let interest accumulate for 2 weeks because of the company's dishonest policies?

                        My order needs to be cancelled ASAP and the full amount refunded immediately. Order Id[protected]

                          Cashback Scam

                          I ordered a bed and applied the 'DIWALI' coupon code for a 25% cashback to the pepperfry wallet as mentioned in the promo. After paying Rs.39000 the company credited 9420 cashback points, which the company claims in its app to be equivalent to 9420 rupees. But now when I try to buy another item and use the cashback, the company doesn't let me use more than 30% of the cashback amount and the cashback amount expires in 7 days, which was mentioned...

                          I had ordered a product - Order no[protected] on 21st of Oct. but i had to cancel the item as I would not be available by 31st Oct when the product will be delivered and I had raised the cancellation request early when the product is not even dispatched from the source. But the team is denying the cancellation. Please help.

                            Pepperfry's sly practices need to be checked. I placed an order for a 4-door wardrobe worth 15, 998. After the order was confirmed, i realized that it was going to take ~40 days to ship the wardrobe.

                            So I cancelled the order within 3-5 minutes.

                            Little did I know that Pepperfry wants to mooch off its customers by charging a 2.5% cancellation fee. So they cut 400 rs even though it cost them NOTHING.

                            A brilliant display of corporate greed!

                            They need to take a lesson from Amazon and prioritize long-term customer goodwill instead of chasing a few lakhs of 'cancellation revenue' every day.

                            They don't realize that negative word of mouth spreads faster than millions worth of marketing campaigns.

                            Shame on you, Pepperfry.

                              I made the mistake of ordering a set of four Green Jute Light Filtering 5 Feet Eyelet Curtain (1 Piece) by Skyloom from this website. One curtain was shorter than the other. The customer care says we will only refund the shorter piece and not the others. If you are not happy - we care a damn - never order again from this website.

                              Where customer-service is a flawless task with Myntra & Ajio & others, it's a nightmare with Pepperyfry. Thank god it was not an expensive deal. Now i can spread the word of mouth to never order from this website again.

                                a set of 3 cushions ordered.

                                1. product delivered 10 days late after multiple follow ups
                                2. wrong quantity delivered. only 1 product out of 3 delivered
                                3. wrong reverse pick up registered by company. delivery person refuses to pick up product

                                15 days of trauma, horrible customer experience.
