[Resolved] Pepperfry — Ridiculous return policy & ridiculous service | |||||
Placed 2 orders with Pepperfry on the 18th Feb for 2 products (Ref - Order No.[protected] & Order No.[protected] for a wall clock & key holder. Have only received the wall clock on Feb 27, found that it is hollow & casts a shadow on the wall and it is impossible to tell the time from a distance even with lights on. Placed a return request for the product on the same day i received it, then learnt about their ridiculous return policy, where they said that i could return only if it is defective or does not match the description in their website. In online shopping, how does one know if the product matches their requirement unless we see it in out home on location?. Get multiple calls from these unreasonable people only to tell me the same thing again & again. In a time when almost all shopping happens online, where people take back clothes without asking questions, find this extremely regressive. Earlier I have had Urban Ladder replace my furniture multiple time without so much so as a question. Coming to the order[protected], it shows as delivered on the 1st Mar, but have not received it till now. Reason they give is that they are following up with the courier delivery DTDC for the Proof of Delivery & that this product was delivered directly from the supplier and asking me to wait for 3-5 more days.
