Hii my wife is admitted for her delivery in although services provided by pgi is incredible but there are some flaws. The helper staff always demand money after delivery but never came to help even we have to change bedsheets by ourself. Nurses behaviour was very rude. They wake up the patient by 5 am in the morning and don't allow pt to sleep afterwards. They were not informing us about treatment and when we ask they shout on us.

Yuvraj singh, aged 6 years, (R/o kot mohammad khan, tarn taran) suffered from liver cancer 4 years ago and was operated at pgi.

As he was having severe pain again, he was taken to pgi yesterday by his parents.

Instead of looking into it, they were rebuked and told to get lost by one dr. Amita trehan there, citing "no opd".

Govt has imposed curfew as if all people are fit, fine and have enough. Many such people, suffering from heart ailments, cancer etc are suffering so much.

If you could help please.

I want to inform pgi administration that, peoples got job in pgi by giving bribe to take job. Some of them are following:-
1. Jitender kumar s/o baldev singh
Working on pgi emergency department as a sweeper.
2. Pooja rani s/o satbir singh wife of jitender kumar she also get job by bribe money. Working on emergency department as sweeper.
Now, jitender kumar wents to admit his brother ajay kumar on pgi security department.

As i mentioned above this is an offence regarding the society. So, i will request you that please fire them immediately.
They will do an crime after doing this by bribing the money for getting the job.
So, i will request pgi administration to that take strict action for both of them and fire them from this job.
Jitender kumar also have a case in consume court of not paying money for purchased item.

My mom is a patient of pgi and right now admitted on icu level 2 nehru hospital.
Inside the ward the electric bulbs of 2nd bench is not working, also the gowns is which the patient get is also wet and they ask to wear that only, accordingly to the timings the bed sheet am going to be change.
Also there are so many things regarding equipments.
So i request you to please get a check and make it clear that all the things should be upto the mark.

My father was suffering from cancer in food pipe and it was detected at earlier stage (1st stage) in the month of july but bcoz of negligency of doctors, just in 5 months now he is on 4th stage, not even the single doctor guided us properly from the day1, everytime their statement was different at diff. Days, they took plenty of time just for discussing the case with their senior doctor and everytime they were ignoring the case of cancer by telling us a excuse that this is not the priority case for us we have other cases also, by their excuses they have taken 6 months to just plan the plantation of stent in food pipe, which was already rejected by these doctors only 3 months before from now. They were giving us hope of planning the surgery for completely solution for this problem. But just a day before surgery they told us that now this is the case of 4th stage we cannot go for surgery, i didn't understand what they were waiting from last 6 months just for it would convert to final stage only that would the critical case for them, so now huge success for them, they have successfully achieved this.

My father's both the hands got brunt, to get these injuries cured we were referred to pgi (Plastic surgery department).

One of the doctor gave date for the operation, but later cancelled it and asked for noc from neurology & cardiology departments. We got clearance and they gave us another date for operation, but again they called in at night and postponed it to august 17, 2019. I was asked to purchase operation material and submit 100₹ what i did, but suddenly doctor cancelled the operation by saying operation is not required and referred back to opd.

How strange! Very careless doctors.

In nehru hospitals the gastro department is very dirty, interns are spreading used syringes on beds after using on patients... The doctors of gastro deparment are very careless and not looking after the care of patients and playing with life of patients, its request to authority to please look after the gastro department and maintain it so that patient can live healthy life.

Is to bring to your kind attention the monoply of medicine vendor at new opd, pgi.. Medicine vendor took my card and issued me a token against desired medicines. He told to wait for an hour, and to stand in que. When sufficient time passed, i told him to return my card as i didn't want to purchase medicine from that store. I am a customer for them and its on my own wish whether to purchase from that particular vendor or not. I requested him again but of no vain. Somehow i took my card from them. I request you to kindly clarify as under : -
1: is private vendor allowed to issue tokens in pgi premises.
2: was the guard gaurding private medicine vendor on govt expenses (Contract basis)
3: if yes, then is the guard allowed to work for private medicine vendors?
4: is private vendor allowed to issue token and make people stand in que just to harass people and make money by same.
5: has the medicine vendor permission to issue tokens?..
6: please let me know complaint portal, where i can complain against such vendors
This private vendor is opposite to canteen in new opd..

Sir mene ek baccha ward 2 child emergency room no.2217 me 21/03/2019 me admit kraya tha or uske se do din bad bourn se water liya tha jo test ke liye bheja tha or aaj phir doctor sahab ne phir se water lene ki kosis ki jiski wajah se child abhi tak behos hai or na hi wo hand utha pa rha sir aap se request hai ki aap jald se exan le thank you patient name ibrahim

Why there are no general seats in orthopaedic surgery and psychiatry for md/ms july session 2019? This is real injustice to candidates of general category. And out of total 5 seats in orthopaedic surgery 2 are reserved for obc which makes up a total of 40% reservation against normal of 27%. We need justice. Candidates who were preparing for pgi exam for last 6 months will be totally disappointed by this gesture from the apex institute.

Pgi advance eye centre me koi facility nahi hai. Ek patient jo morning 6.00 waje aa ke card entry karwata hai uska sabse bad me number aata hai. Jo bad me aate hai unka pehle number aa jata hai. Koi bhi sunwai nahi hai. Bahut zyada harassment hai patient ko. Token system start karna chaiye patient ko pata chale ke uski kabh turn aani hai. System me bahut improvement chaiye. Har jagah sifarsh chal rahi hai. Aam aadmi ke koi nahi sunta.

I went to pgi on the month of september and done all tests which were required for lasik eye surgery. And there reports were positive and i was given the date of 8 november. On 6 november they called me and said machine is not working so u can come on 22 november. On 21 november they again called me and said doctor is on meeting so u can come on 3 december and now. And they again called me on and said machine is not working u can come on 10 december. On 8 december i called them and asked wether the machine is working or not. They replied machine is not working

I accompanied one of my relatives to your pre-transplant
Room in nephrology department on 1st nov., 18 in the clinic of dr.
Vivekananda jha. My relatives had come from outstation and having
Treatment for renal failure. We were asked to go outside the room
And only the persons, conversant with the ailment should be there.
Well, good enough. Only the patient with his mother who is my younger
Sister remained in the room. When they came out, i enquired about the
Advice of the doctor. They could not explain well about the test

The last 10 years in different clinics. I had interaction with other
Very senior doctors of the institution like dr. Kartar singh, head
Neurology deptt., dr. Jagat ram, head ophtology deptt., now director,
Dr. (Prof) ashok gupta, dr. R, ramachandran etc. Etc.

The resident doctor was not wearing her usual coat
Having her name otherwise i would have given her name too.in place
Of dr. Jha, another lady dr. Bhavna was there on that day. On the checking of roaster register the name of the the rude and arrogant doctror can be ascertained by pgi.
The people do not come for getting insulted, rather
They come for treatment and two words of consolation.

For the fist time, i felt ashamed of having come to pgi
For 10 years and lament at the above rude and ill mannered doctor. I
Feel that such doctors also require psychic treatment at pgi otherwise
A doctor from south india would not have committed suicide.

Whether pgi take any action or censure that furious and
Misbehaved doctor, i feel relieved that as an honest and aggrieved
Senior citizen, i have apprised the consumers about the bad element in
Pgi. If pgi feel i can also stand as testimony.

I went to pgi cardio opd for regular checkup of my fatheron 28/11/18 at 10:45am.. At reception i saw receptionist was shouting and taunting at every person whosoever come to her. Even though she was not busy at all. No crowd was there still she behaved very badly. I asked for my que no. And she did the same and write wrong que no. On my card because my father was senior citizen the window was different. Having some hesitation i went to her for changing no. But she start shouting at me and spoke in an abusive manner. As a responsible citizen its my duty to aware you about this. Please take a necessary action against her so that people can asked thier query without any fear of being insulting.

Today i went pgi mirror room 2050 at 9:00 am. The doctor was visited to watch the patient. When i asked to helper at 11 am. When will come doctor? She said that. They are coming. I said ok. And helper told me that if you r in hurry than you called the doctor. She told me in rude language. Helpers have non-sense behave. Doctors are good. Helper please behave your language. Your language is so rude. They have no sense how to talk citizen & children. This is so bad. Pgi please give some knowledge to helper. How to talk peoples?. I hope that you will improve manners your helpers. Its their duty.

My mother is patient of pgi chandigarh since last 8 years now she is on dialysis and doctors of nephrology department in written prescribing dialysis twice per week but orally said us to go for dialysis outside pgi which is against national dialysis policy. Today we had gone for endo opd and my mother has to go for dialysis dr in room no 3024 kept looking private patients and dr in room no 3024 take one file of sr no 123 from room no 3024 but denied to take my mother's file even though we have to go for dialysis she denied to take case at 4 o'clock so my mother don't get treament due to their negligence and doctors of room no 3024 and 3023 and one more thing drs of endocrinology department are always use medical representatives of private companies as attendants and drs of endocrinology department are not prescribing generic medicines.

The patient (My wife) _ slipped at night 15/7/18 at home, and in morning i have taken my wife to private nursing home at mohali. She was diagnosed for hip fracture and doctor prescribed pain killer and suggest for surgery. As she was a heart patient having valve problem and the treatment going on at pgi hospital. We have taken to pgi hospital after discussion with relatives. She was admitted at pgi trauma centre. Some test was performed of blood. After trauma emergency she was sifted to trauma ward and she was treated here on stretcher. After two days she was shifted to disaster ward and hip x-ray and mri performed. As the surgery recommended and taken for cardiology in nehru hospital for echo for cardiologist opinion regarding surger at fourth day. Cardiologist gave clearance by seeing the old reports and she was admitted at cardiology one month back and kept under moderate risk in surgery.
Pre examination did before surgery and some blood thinner and pain killer started to the patient on regular basis. Day sixth they ask for to be prepare for surgery. As the my wife is not getting bed for one week in spite of our repeated request to the doctors as she was a heart patient.in the mean time symptoms of heart problem regenerated. Seventh day we get bed at ortho emergency ward. Beside that regular medicine she is taking blood thinner and pain killers on regular basis and oxygen, streamer, bp monitor, urine catheter, glucose were applied to the patient as the fluid collected in his body including chest, stomach, and legs his condition deteriorated day by day. We have requested lot of time to junior doctor and doctor incharge to refer the patient in advanced cardiology centre, but doctor gives us the accused. First excuse is there is no bed in cardiology. Second is cardiology centre not taking the patient. Third excuse is the primary is hip fracture and cardiology is secondary problem. Fourth excuse is the consultant doctor (Senior doctor) ordered not to refer.
After our repeated requests to junior doctor they have put one cardiology consultation in 13 days. The consultant doctor never examines the patient physically. They review the old medicine only. The day 15th his condition gets more worse and she is getting psychiatric problem too. At night one senior doctor comes for round. They refer to advanced cardiology centre, that time also junior doctor says that there is order of consulting doctor not to refer at cardiology, but the doctor refer her to cardiology centre. But before refer to cardiology on 16th day morning she was died at 7:00.

They just doing the duties, they have no means patient condition.
*they are not providing any attendant, the patient attendant going to post to pillar for performing tests and medicines by leaving the patient alone.
* no senior doctor interact with patient and their attendants.
* no body monitoring the nursing staff.

A doctor i don't know her name, she assist Dr Usha at Advance Eye Centre PGI Chandigarh . She is so dumb, lazy, and arrogant . She made me wait for 4 hours just to say one sentence! "I don't know, let me ask my senior". In last 2 years its first time, we met such an irresponsible lady doctor here. I had appointment with another doctor but i couldn't reach there just because of this idiot. It seems that time doesn't matter for her...
Worst Experience Ever.

My brother met with an accident in my hometown pithoragarh and he broke his knee i brought him here so that he can get better treatment. I took him to pgi. But i didn't knew that the doctors in pgi are so irresponsible and careless. When they were operating my brother it took almost 2-3 hours 5-6 doctors were there no one noticed that while they were operating my brother his hand was burning by the heater. 3 hours tk mere bhai ka hath jalta raha. And operation k baad unhone hath pe dressing kr di n they said k galti see thoda sa jal gya hai thik ho jayega. Few days later when i saw my brother's hand wo thoda sa nhi his hand was burnt so deep uski bones tk najar aa rhi thi. They said that they will take care of it wo treatment karenge. They called us saying that plastic surgery krni pdegi hath ki. It's a long story i can not write everything here. And now i went to a private doctor and they said k mere bhai ki finger kaatni pdegi bcz wo puri damage ho chuki hai otherwise infection pure hath m ho jayega.. I want justice they ruined my brother's life he is only 17. I want some one to get back to me asap so that we can discuss the whole case please it's a request

4 april 2018 ko mai apne eyes k saare test krwae or apni file banwai fir mujhe usi din evng me saari reports mil gai or mujhe lasic lazer opertaion ki date de di gai 9 may 2018. Or aj 9 may 2018 ko jb mai yaha ake apna opertaion krwane k lie file di then jo mere test ki reports ti jo staff attendent k. Pas submit the vo usne kaha ki miss ho gai hai... Or fir jb humne is baare bola ki ab kya kare to kisi ne hmare sth sahi behave nahi kia or agli date de di gai.

This hospital and it’s whole staff is #ed up. Worst anyone can ever expect. My grandfather had blood cancer, we were put on waiting list for #ing 1 and a half month, these # got him into the treatment. When they admitted him, right after a day when the cancer had reached its last stage, they said since it’s too late, you can just take him home and we can’t treat him. Like # you guys. I would literally kill those # who attended my grandpa if i could go to chandigarh right now. I wish you guys all the bad luck and may you all die very soon.

I would like to inform you that hmm my mother was suffering from chronic kidney disease and she was referred to pgi chandigarh. My mother health was not so good and we arrived at pgi at emergency ward and my mother was serious at that time and she was breathless but no doctor was there to take care for her on 01/01/18 at 5:15pm. I have requested many times in front of doctor who was available there but he was ignored me and my mother. Then after many requests and seeing my mother condition we decided to admit my mom to private hospital so after that we arrived to fortis hospital mohalli. My mother is central government employee. We are from middle class family. I want to know what our govt doing for us there is lack of medical facilities. I want to highlight this concern in front of pm modi.

I was under treatment from the last few months and testing some main tests for lasik surgery the doctor said that i have lactase hole in my right eye and they fixed my appointment for laser aftee one month.
When i sat in the retina lab after depositing my fee. After examining the doctor said that i have no hole in my eyes.
I couldn't understand what they are saying.
The doctor in room no. 259 was my doctor (Uneducated&ignorant) who told me about the hole in my eyes.

I don't want to go brief i itreat my baby for hydrocaplus as suggest by apc pgi doctor. After 2-3 months neither baby speak nor move no one have answer for that every one rasing their hand. Hwad of brain syrgon pgi. Apc pgi medicine. My question is that if you don't know the advantage and disadvantage of treatment then why you do that. After hurting and spoiling hundred of life and thousand families and get rearch on treatment it is worthles.

The gurads and heplers dont bring the cards of patients which comes before they cheat with patients. There is lot of problmes about patients token numbers. Helpers do misplace the cards. Because of helpers careless and cheating patients faces many problems. And the behave of helpers gaurds too much rude. They like that they are the owner of pgi. Try to understand the patients problmes.. We hope that u will note this complaint. Please sort out this problmes. We shall be very thankfull to you for this.

This is to inform you that we came here to see patient, but security lady misbehaved with us and with old lady.

Such behaviour and treatment gives bad name for such reputed hospital. Time:- 15:30.

Serious steps should be taken and teach them how to talk and behave with family members / relatives of patients.

Three hours in pgi
My daughter arpita aged 6 ½ years slipped and her head hit the floor (6 pm). She started vomiting. On seeing this, i rushed (6.30) to pgi trauma centre. The doctors on duty did not attend her and said we only attend referred cases. They said she should be taken to gmch-32. Even they behaved rudely & unprofessionally and involved in hitted argument with me. One of them said we are performing continuous duty for 36 hours so we are behaving like this. Then, i asked for complaint form at the reception counter. The complaint form was also not available on the counter. Then i went (7.57 pm) to smo room no. 221. He/ she was also not there in the room. One official guided me to go mha control. I taking my daughter in my lap went to mha control. There, i narrated the whole incidence to the officer. He said me go and meet ms kakuli at reception (Emergency) centre she will attend you. Then, ms kakuli sent me to ms arti at the reception of trauma centre. She then took my daughter inside. Again the same doctor did not attend my daughter on the pretext of rush of serious patient. I again waited for half an hour. Again on seeing that they are just busy in meeting i called mha control (Mob. [protected]) at 8.56 pm and detailed the whole incidence again. Thereafter, he phoned the doctor to attend my daughter. One of them then checked my daughter and recommended some medicine on plain papers. Doctors are reluctant to take responsibility. To get my daughter checked it took about 3.00 hours. There should be system place in place that minimum time is taken in attending the patient. This all was very painful. There may be shortage of doctor staff. It is the prime duty of doctor to attend the patient which i have not seen there.

Night duty doctors, nurses do not corporate at all. For these people the patient is just like a corpse. Do nut give proper medication and upon that they argue and behave badly. The doctors are extremely rude. They actually forget they took up this profession to treat people and make a mockery out of them. They lack emotional intelligence and take out their personal frustration on the patients. They should not forget that god is watching.
