Since purchased on 20.10.2015 we faced disturbances in tv for more than one time. Recently we made re complaint to philips cc on 04.09.2017. They visited my house on 6th sep'2017 and that time tv was in working condition, without doing any activities they took rs 850/- service charge, although tv is in warranty period for five yrs. Again we made complain to philips cc, they told that after one year service charge shall be applicable as after one year it is an extended warranty period, not warranty period. My question is 1) what is the difference between warranty and extended warranty? 2) in warranty period how service charges can be levied? 3) for manufacturing defect /poor quality of product why we should suffer? 4) as per philips cc, after one year it is in extended warranty period, if we send the tv in service center for repair then there is no service charge. How it is possible to take tv like big thing to service center every time? 5) what is the philips like big company's policy? Was this information helpful? | |||||
