Philips India — Refusing to fix my television | |||||
Hi, I had purchased a television from Philips, a 39inch LED TV. After almost a year, it started acting up! The colours on the screen were mixed and the brightness was increased. The faces of people started appearing orange and the whites were so bright that we could not see anything in the image. I contacted the company within the warranty period and they sent a technician. He examined the TV and said that its the fault of the set top box. So i replaced the set top box from my cable provider. The problem persisted. Hence I called Philips again and they sent another engineer. This man, knew nothing, he seemed uneducated and was uncertain of the problem. He then re-installed my TV. This is what even I had done and after the TV restarted, it had the same problem. After resetting my TV, it gets fixed for about 15mins and the problem persists. I contacted philips for the third time but they are now refusing to send anyone to fix the TV as they say that the TV has no problem. I know for a fact that the TV is not fixed, but they refuse to help. Was this information helpful? | |||||
