I enrolled my 7-year-old son with PlanetSpark and paid ₹53, 963 for its English communication/public-speaking programme.
After enrollment, we experienced repeated technical problems, including inability to access Practice Classes due to “Invalid Practice or Registration ID – Code 80803”, problems with Performance Class functionality and recurring audio/video/microphone issues. Despite numerous tickets, calls, emails and escalations, the problems were not satisfactorily resolved.
We therefore requested cancellation and refund.
PlanetSpark subsequently communicated to me in writing that the refundable amount would be ₹50, 963.
However, the same communication requested that I take down/turn down my recent reviews across social-media and public-review platforms and confirm this over email so that the company could obtain internal approvals and proceed further with the refund process.
I did not agree to removal of my genuine reviews as a precondition for receiving the refund.
I subsequently reported the relevant evidence to Trustpilot. Following its investigation, Trustpilot informed me that it had confirmed a violation and placed a consumer warning on PlanetSpark’s business profile.
I have preserved the relevant emails, screenshots and technical-error evidence.
Resolution requested:
Processing and credit of the legitimately refundable amount without making removal of genuine consumer reviews or complaints a precondition, together with written confirmation of the refund transaction.
