We enrolled for PlanetSpark for creative english learning for our kid in the month of January 2024. We agreed for Rs. 40000 divided in 12 months installment which will be auto-debited from our HDFC account. The agreement was if we don't find the classes as suitable and as per agreement then we could cancel and the amount would be refunded. Below were the sequence of events which happened -
1. We enrolled on 6th Jan 2024 to agree on Rs. 40000 divided in 12 installments which will auto-debit and subscription can be cancelled if we are not happy. The decision can be taken before completion of 8 classes.
2. After enrollment, there were delay's in scheduling with classes and there were several reasons being given like, teacher is not available, student is not onboarded to LMS etc. All these were there internal issues
3. Somehow after multiple follow-ups and delays we were able to reach till 4 classes. After which it was unbearable so we asked to cancel our subscription and refund our amount.
4. To our surprise, there wasn't any communication further. We followed-up multiple times with them to cancel our subscription but there was no response. We came across multiple blogs, which mentioned PlanetSpark is a fraud and they have this model to earn money.
5. Issue and Impact -- Since our subscription is not cancelled, they are still deducting amount each month from our account and there is nothing much I am able to do.
6. I also followed up with Bank but the Bank says they also can't do anything until PlanetSpark stops the subscription
Now I am clueless and don't know what to do. There are many customer impacted with this kind of fraud and I request you to restrict such kind of organizations and help me to refund our money. Was this information helpful? |
