I received a call from a company named “Platinum Service” claiming that I was a valued Axis Bank credit card customer and eligible for a special “Money Card” with lifetime benefits such as cashback on shopping, holiday packages, and health checkups.
They asked me to pay ?8, 990 as a one-time fee. After repeated calls and pressure, I made the payment using my credit card.
Within a few hours, I became suspicious and tried to cancel the service, but they refused and said cancellation was not possible until I received the card. After receiving the card, I again requested cancellation, refund, and asked for company details such as GST number, but they did not respond properly.
Their website is now not working, and no proper support is available.
Recently, after almost one year, they have started calling again and demanding more money. They are even saying that I must pay again if I want to cancel the service. This is clear harassment and fraudulent behavior.
I have proof of payment and video of the received card.
