Policy Bazaar — claim not received since last 2 months | |||||
I have taken two wheeler policy from policy bazaar in the month of august 2018. The policy was from united india insurance under policy no.[protected]. I met with an accident on 3-nov-2018, where in spite of my condition i had to submit the policy documents in order to process the claim; which policy bazaar never told me while selling the policy that this policy is not cashless policy. All the formalities were completed and surveyor too submitted the report on 27-nov-2018. Its been more than a month now that in spite of at least 20-25 calls to policy bazaar they are just washing there hands off from providing any status on refund of amount from united india insurance. Every time i call them, they assure me that amount will be refunded in next 7-10 days. One of the worst ever service received from policy bazaar, because they only send follow-up emails to united india when i call them else they just don't take efforts to close the issue. I called them today, 29-dec-2018 and i got the same reason that we are following up and there are no updates, it will take another 7-10 days to receive the refund. When asked for sharing documented comment in an email about my refund, they always get away with it by saying we are not authorized to to do so because of delay from insurance company. This itself clears that all the assurances that they have been giving was to just avoid the customer for 7-10 days and then when customer calls up again they go with the same story of blaming insurance company and washing there hands off the case. My only question is, if they knew the insurance company is so slow then why do they have it listed on their site? Why isn't there any follow-up from policy bazaar with insurance company and me, why is it that they only follow-up when i call them? Why do they only know how to cheat customer by selling a product and collecting money when they do not have courteousy to provide customer service? This is the last time i am ever transacting with policy bazaar. I recommend when we still have to pay money and buy policy then avoid going through policy bazaar because of their pathetic customer service and careless attitude towards customer. Want to have piece of mind, go with bank bazaar i have had wonderful experience with those guys. They know how to help their customers and they ensure to get you out of situation by managing such cases easily.
