Policy Bazaar — My car policy liberty videocon with wrong NCB | |||||
Car policy no: 201110000016100072200000 Insured: Ramesh Babu V G Contact: [protected] I purchased liberty videocon policy for my car in June 2016, provided all details of my car and previous years’ policies... Policybazaar given 25% ncb on purchased liberty videocon policy. But when i claimed after an accident, the insurance company did not approve the claim on the basis of wrong ncb. I informed my agent from policy bazaar Mr Rahul Kumar Tiwari about this. He told me to wait for some time to resolve the problem, as the mistake of wrong ncb is because of policybazaar. Now when i call Mr Rahul Kumar Tiwari he does not receive my call and disconnect it and when i called on policybazaar toll free no the customer care executive said Mr Rahul Kumar Tiwari is busy and will call u later. But he did not call me. Next day again i tried to call policybazar they are stating that in the recording they have confirmed about the NCB percentage, but as per recording it is not clear that I have accepted the percentage. The agent who called me confused me, I clearly first stated as 0%. But as I had a network problem in my office while the agent had called me, and he was continuously stating 20% I thought it was for this year so I said ok. But he took it for previous year. But while entering the details in policy bazaar before the Policy bazaar agent had called me, I have entered the correct NCB 0% for my previous year policy. Now policy bazaar is stating that, they cannot do anything on this. Also, I had mentioned I would go for complaining against them in consumer court, they are ok with that. Hence I wanted to complain in this forum, before going for a complaint in consumer court. My car is lying in workshop from last 12 days. I was not expecting this kind of fraud from policybazaar. My policy is hdfc life2 click on date 26/10/2016 buy, but I'm not satisfied to this policy and your service and invest to other best savings scheme so please call me and help us withdrawn this policy.

The same happened to me too... By default 25% NCB button is clicked already and customers continue with that. We can choose between whether claimed in previous year or not. .Nothing is mentioned about no claim bonus percentage and its criteria.
