Policy Bazaar — Non issuance of the policy document of my car bearing registration number JK01AK7583

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against PolicyBazaar and New India Assurance Company Ltd. regarding the non-issuance of my car insurance policy document, despite timely payment and compliance with all procedural requirements.

On 31 June 2025, I purchased an insurance policy online for my Hyundai Venue car bearing registration number JK01AK7583 through PolicyBazaar under Booking ID[protected]. The insurance was to be renewed with New India Assurance Company Ltd., with whom the vehicle has been insured for the past four years. I paid the premium amount of ₹10, 821/- on the same date, prior to the expiry of the earlier policy.

However, the policy document was not issued. I was later asked to submit a video inspection, which I duly provided to PolicyBazaar on 03 August 2025. As per their communication, the video inspection was approved and forwarded to the concerned insurance company on the same date.

Despite fulfilling all requirements and making repeated requests via email and other communication channels, the policy document has not been issued to me. I am now facing considerable inconvenience, as I am unable to use my car without a valid insurance policy. This has forced me to hire taxis for daily commuting, resulting in financial strain.

Each time I contact PolicyBazaar’s customer care, I am assured that the issue will be resolved “today, ” but no action has been taken so far.

I therefore request your kind intervention in this matter and urge you to direct:

PolicyBazaar and New India Assurance Company Ltd. to immediately issue the insurance policy document.

Appropriate compensation for the financial loss and mental distress caused by this delay.

Measures to ensure such negligence does not recur in future.

I am enclosing relevant documents including payment confirmation, communication records, and video inspection approval for your reference.
