[Resolved] Policy Bazaar — not refunding money after cancellation | |||
Madam/dear sir, I have applied for car insurance from the new india assurance co. Ltd. Through the policy bazaar of my car no. Wb20 ag 5615 on 18.02.2020. My previous policy was expired on 18.01.2020. So, inspection was required to issue the policy. After paying the amount they have instantly issued the policy certificate to me and i have noticed that my previous policy certificate expiry date was written there 18.02.2020. I realized that i will face problem in future for this reason for insurance claim. Instantly i contacted with new india assurance co. Ltd. And informed them about the errors and requested to inspect the car and rectify the policy but they were saying that since i have done the policy through policy bazaar i have to contact with them regarding this whereas new india assurance... Directly sent my policy details to my mobile no. [protected]. Then i contacted with policy bazaar and raised the issue twice from policy bazaar my account site but no one from policy bazaar contacted with me and responded through mail that no policy correction is possible after issuance the policy. Then i was really scared and felt that at the beginning of policy i am not getting any help not from policy bazaar nor from new india assurance, what will happen if i claim insurance in future if any unfortunate event occurs? Then i decided to cancel the policy and raised cancellation through policy bazaar site on 20.02.2020. But now they are saying i have to show them the alternate policy and not refunding the money. I told them if they don't refund the money how will i be able to make another policy. But they are saying they will not refund my money. So, i kindly request please look into the matter and help me so that i can refund my hard earned money and make my car insurance from an honest insurance company directly. Feb 22, 2020 Complaint marked as Resolved I don't know how it is resolved...No steps have been taken by the company... Policy Bazaar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
