Policy Bazaar — promised refund pending since 3 weeks | |||
I canceled the term insurance i booked on july 22 due to financial reasons (Which had a refund policy if canceled within 30 days). Here are the policy details: Policy name: tata aia life sampoorna raksha Booking id:[protected] Booked date: 22 july Premium paid: inr 21, 594 Cancellation date: 24 jult It's been more than 3 weeks since i canceled my policy (Booking id:[protected] and the refund is still pending. I was told it would be processed within 7-10 days but apart from receiving daily call stating the same thing that my request has been forwarded, i see no update. During sales, they were calling me all the time and now nobody has the exact process of canceling. I have told my relationship manager that i want to cancel and want the refund to be initiated asap yet i only receive daily calls saying my request has been forwarded to the concerned department. I feel mentally harassed by their team - they are now not picking up calls as well and when they do pick up, they disconnect immediately and send an email saying they couldn't reach me. Policy bazaar has this unethical practice of harassing the customer till they give up and they can steal our money. I wish i had directly went through the insurance company of my choice rather than trusting this fraud money stealing company. When i said i will be submitting a complaint to consumer court, their executive mocked me saying this is a daily threat they receive and nobody can touch them because they are a big company and people don't have resource. I feel this is true now because as consumers i am not sure what can i do when a big corporation steals money from me in day light. I can only suggest other to boycott policy bazaar so that they don't face this level of harassment Was this information helpful? | |||
