I purchased renewal of my car insurance with oriental insurance through policybazaar. I paid the amount of 11424 rs on 1st of dec. Soon after the payment i received the message that there is problem in issuance of soft copy of the policy and on 4th of dec i will get my policy. Then on 4th i got an email saying there is some problem from oriental insurance side and that i will receive my policy on 6th of dec. Then every alternate day i started receiving mails stating the same. I waited till 10th of dec, i was unable to drive my car as the policy had already expired and this was all because of policybazaar, but any how i told them to cancel my policy and then i went to oriental insurance local branch where i paid an amount of around 14500 to get my renewal done. I spent my whole day and to got physical verification done. On 10th policybazaar initiated the refund and send me the mail which said the money will be credited within 10-15 days. After waiting for 15 days that is 25th of dec., i again got a mail saying that refund has been initiated and the money will reflect in 10-15 days, and asked me to wait till 5th of jan. Now this rose my anger and i called their customer care. The executive on the other side told me the same thing that there is a problem with oriental insurance for the refund. I told them i will file a complaint if they dont refund my money within 2 days. Now today morning on 27th i again called up and they r still telling me the same thing and asking me to wait. It looks like as if they dont even know what is going on. And all they know is to just ask me to wait... Wait for the policy... And now wait for the refund. My money is lying with them from 1st of dec. And it really uncertain that they will even refund me my money because according to them the money is with oriental insurance... But i paid to policybazaar.. They must clear my refund and solve their issue with oriental or whatever.. This has really costed me a lot of time and mental stress.
