I contacted policy bazar for my car insurance, they gave me an idv value for my car as 2.5 lacs and the premium of 9600. I have asked them to send them an email and they have send me mails 3 times with the same quotes, they never changed that, they claimed that they have got this quote from baja allianz and it is confirmed with all the addons like zero dep, 24x7 etc. I have made the payment, their executive called me that now i would have to self inspection upload my rc and make the video of my car by myself. I sent them rc (Collecting such documents by these measures is a crime in itself), i made the payment (They must have got my banking details as well till now), i did upload my car's video on their application as instructed to me by their executive. I told them i have plans to go out on 29th morning, so i want the policy before that and their executive assured of getting the policy done by 28th.
On the 28th evening, i received a call from one of their executive now saying that we cannot provide the claimed idv value of 2.5 lacs and they only can give 1.4 lacs as the idv value (I have all the emails in which they have claimed all the quotes).
Above act is an act of collecting documents by giving false quotes and information.
I would like to literally file a case against them or i want them to get my car insured at the same idv and the same premium they quoted.
Please help me out.
