Policy Bazaar — Term Insurance Features incorrectly explained by Policy Bazaar Agent

One of the Policy Bazzaar agent - Kartik Sarma (Mob no[protected] has told me lies about the Max life Term insurance features and its plan Exit clause at 65 yrs with premium back option and convinced be to buy the 1 Crore Max life term insurance and when i didn't find the clause in the Max Life policy bond copy and requested Kartik to confirm, he told he was not aware about this feature not available for my Term insurance plan.. He halso assured to return back any premium that is deducted by max life and now he has started avoiding me and my phone calls and didn't provide any help to cancel the Term insurance during free look period.

Kartik had assured me that i can trust him and policy bazaar as he will be there for any support or cancellation and no money/ premium will be deducted if i am not satisfied post review of Policy bond guidelines and its features..

Please register my complaint against Kartik and Policy Bazaar agent as they don't have clear knowledge about insurance features and are fooling customers by telling lies to buy the insurance plans.

I am not satisfied with the time taken to cancel the policy during the free look cancellation period by policy bazaar as I had requested for policy cancellation on July 6th (the very Next day when I had received the soft copy of policy document on July 5th). Their was no support provided by policy bazaar or Kartik Or [protected]@policybazaar.com to whom this case was assigned, no proper mail communication from any agent or executive or manager.

It took 14 days to send the cancellation email acknowledgement from Max life where i had to initiate the cancellation in absence of policy bazaar support.

I had to write more than 10 to 15 emails to Policy Bazaar and Max life Nodal officers and till date I have not received any satisfactory response from Max life or Policy Bazaar Managers..

Do note Max life policy document issued to me was not as per the discussion i had with the Policy Bazaar customer executive as Term insurance Policy bond did not capture the Exit option @ 65 Years with premium back option which was discussed and promised by Policy Bazaar Agent Kartik Sarma (Mobile no[protected], Hence i had to cancel the policy as i had taken the policy due to this exit feature premium back option else i was never interested in Term insurance and was planning to take Max life SWP plan for 60 Lakhs (12 Yrs premium of 5 lakhs) as what was shown to me on Max lifer website and Policy bazaar website by kartik Sarma during selling the Term insurance policy was not mentioned in the Max life Policy bond copy and Max life had not sent me any interim draft bond copy for my review before issuing the final copy, Hence charging the Stamp duty and Medical charges (which i had not requested) to me is completely unacceptable / illegal as i was told utter lie before selling the Term insurance policy...and Now I have decided to file complaint / Harassment case with Consumer court if Max life or Policy Bazaar doesn't settle the complete dues to my bank account through NEFT within next 3 business days.

I have all the proofs, Phone recordings and mail proofs to support my case... Do let me know if Policy bazaar Grievance officers final decision by tomorrow end of day for me to decide on my next steps or do you want me to reach out to [protected]@cioins.co.in & bimalokpal.[protected]@cioins.co.in from Council for Insurance Ombudsmen.

Do note i will be forced to share negative feedback about Policy Bazaar and Max Life on Facebook, twitter and in various internet review forums across whatsapp / Other apps to my Corporate friends so other customers are not cheated by Policy Bazaar agents if my 1st premium is not 100% reimbursed in next 3 Business days.
