During the purchase process, the app asked whether we had made any claims under our expired policy, to which we marked "No" since no claim was made. It also asked for the No Claim Bonus (NCB) percentage for the previous policy, and we selected 50%, as we believed we were eligible for a 50% NCB. The app confirmed this eligibility.
However, our claim has now been rejected by Bajaj Allianz, citing an incorrect NCB selection. They mentioned that we should not have selected 50%, as we had made a claim on the policy prior to the last one. Policybazaar did not provide any clear information about this detail or ask for the specifics of previous claims. It only inquired about the last policy's NCB percentage and confirmed our eligibility for 50% NCB.
As a result, our car has been stuck in the garage for over two weeks, and we are facing significant inconvenience. I am disappointed that Policybazaar did not provide sufficient information to prevent this situation.
