Policybazaar — refund delayed

Greetings.

I am writing this email to give an highlight on the services that i have received from your end which was not at all worthwhile.

Few days back i got a call from one of your executive gaurav joshi as i was planning to buy a policy for myself and my mother. He did the follow up for the same for past few months and on 28th january 2019 i enrolled for the same..

For. Me he suggested me to. Go with religare and for my mother he suggested me to go by max bupa.. And he convinced me that the policy would not get rejected due to medical and assured me that he will take care of the same.. And on his words i paid 12, 783 rs. For the policy and after two days my mother medical has been conducted by max bupa and the policy has been rejected due to medical as she is diabetic which i have disclosed at the very first day to gaurav.

After that also he assured me that it just happened due to this and this and giving lame excuses to me instead of accepting his fault and told me that the refund will process in just 10 days...

On 06th february i just called on policy bazar and asked my refund status and it is told to me that it has not been processed yet as i need to provide the cancelled cheque to them to process the same.

My reason for writing is that you guys didn't provide the exact information to the clients and just give the lame excuses to them when the policy gets rejected. Also he asked me not to. Disclose the things over the verification call that i m getting the policy though the agent. And asked me to tell thm i buy it on my own.. (Which is so unprofessional thing).

Gaurav called me in the afternoon and i asked him that still i did not received my refund and instead of telling me the required things he was assuring me that i will get the refund without supplying the documents. How can you guys made this kind of commitments to any of your clients and at the time of enrollment you guys used such kind if line that you are our valuable client... This kind of services you will be giving to your valuable clients???

And there is no proper notification from your end regarding the same.

I got the notification from. Max bupa that my refund has been initiated and will take 8 to 9 days to process. Now i don't understand the reason for holding the money when the insurer already decline the policy..

Today also i asked for the call back by putting a request on your portal and i got a call from you guys stating that yes we received the cheque and our refund team will get back to you with the status and its almost dya day end and i didn't get any call from any of the team.

Its been ten days m asking for the same thing and not getting the proper acknowledgement from any of the team members even there is no. Update on my amount which i have paid to them.

Even asking them to provide the direct contact number of the concerned person they simply denied and ask to drop the email.

Along with this i will be posting this compaint on your consumer portal as well so that people get awareness about your fake commitments which you guys do to your clients just to earn the money.

And also your executive gaurav joshi who was my consultant misbehaves with the me over the call when asking for the updates from them instead of resolving it.. And after i wrote an email to him
I got an email from policy bazaar that they will conclude it on 01 march that means 45 days almost which is just opposite what has been conveyed to me..

Also do let me know if the company is reimbursing the interests which i m paying to the credit card company as my amount had not been refunded back so automatically it would be charged by my bank. As i have given my entire months salary into the payment om your words and still hasn't got it back.

Aside.. I am keeping rbi and max bupa in cc.. Kindly look into the matter on the priority basis as i already wasted my ten days with no proper communication and fake commitment or else will be writing to consumer court and taking this matter to them...

.. Hope you guys does not wants this to happened as an firm..
