Firstly, Little bit about my self. Iam a regular Joe and no-nonsense type without much expectations about customer service.
However, iam forced to vent out some of my frustrations with the car dealer where i have been serving my car Volkswagen Vento . i feel i have been taken for a ride and got cheated by these unprofessional service guys.
I have been a VolksWagen Vento TDI car owner for the last 3 years.
Good stuff : Great car, Good mileage, well built.
Now the problem starts, the bad stuff:
1. This dealer has no concept of customer service or a streamlined process or value for customer’s time. It takes couple of hours to give the car for service and another 2 hours while picking up the car. Again, you see everyone running around, nothing really happens here
Horrible workman ship: You would be glad that half of your problems are fixed and they don’t introduce new ones. It is almost common that you need to visit them at-least 2 times to fix the problems they create during the original servicing. Example.. they have tightened the hand brake while servicing. They did this to an extent that the car doesn’t move unless you give high throttle
Horrible service ..again: They have caused a short circuit while fixing my bumper dent and my car caught fire in the middle of the Hyderabad road.
Very expensive spare parts. Let me spare you the details. A simple plastic coat hanger inside the car would set you for more than couple of thousands.
Now the final one: My car met with an accident and i really have to go though lot of frustration and wait for more than 2 months and paid several lakhs and got several new issues after getting serviced.
Bottom Line Never ever buy a VolksWagen car in India until they get rid of this monopoly in the service and spare parts space., Don’t get fooled by their marketing campaigns and promotions. You will be paying later .. Very dearly Was this information helpful? |
