Pune Traffic Police Complaints & Reviews

I am charged by Pune Traffic Police for halting ahead white line. (E Challan No: PTPCHC[protected], Registration No: MH12 MU4240). However, after checking the evidences through images attached, it is clear that the violator is somebody else and I have been wrongly charged for the fine. The concerned vehicle as shown in the image is not mine, neither I am the driver as shown in the image! Please withdraw the wrongly levied fine.

Hi,

I have been charged wrong offence section on online traffic challan portals.
I have also been charged under section 129/177" Without Helmet", While i was driving a car.

I was stopped at swargate chowk by traffic police for tinted glass dark flims, i told them i was not aware of this much tinted is also not allowed they taken my cell no liscence and vehicle no ...then is received the sms of challan which costs 600 wich are as follow
1tinted glass remove the flims 200
2u turn no 200
3 without seat belt 200
my mistake was only of tinted glass flims remove hence they also put another charge at what basis?
even the evidence image the given is false in challan my vehicle is maruti ritz

There's always double parking near Kayani Bakery at East Street, Pune and today's incidence was very frustrating. At 4 pm I wanted to park at a vacant parking place but an arrogant driver had double parked his car and was not going ahead instead of repeated signals. I had to go take twists and turns to get into the parking space and later had to bear his foul language. This is really very frustrating and something has to be done for the illegal parking creating nuisance for traffic.

I was on the way to deccan. I wanted to take u turn, but traffic police was trying to say something on opposite side of the road. So i stoped there and din't take u turn. Still mr m. K. Salunkhe came and asked me to pay fine without any reason. He was very rude. When i asked what was my mistake. He said u stoped your bike before taking u turn. I was going with my sister and little nephew. He stopped us for around 15 mins without any reason. He clicked photo o[censored]s but didn't attach that in e-chalan as a proof. Because we were not on the wrong side. I am not going to pay for the reason i was not wrong.
Please show me evidence what i did wrong.

Between 12 to 12 30 pm today i was on my way to office at hinjewadi phase one via highway on my moped (Deo - blue colour). A bmw plat number : mh12 eh 8487 - possibly brown in color dashed me from the right side while over taking. Some how i managed to balance my moped and reach office safely. Unfortunately i was not able see who was driving the bmw car and did not get a chance to take the photo of car as it sprinted away again in a rash...

मी रोज पिंपळे गुरव ते कर्वेनगर ला जॉबसाठी ये जा करतो. मला सध्या इतका त्रास होतोय कि वाटतंय मी जॉब सोडून द्यावा. साधारण एक ते दीड वर्षांपासून युनिव्हर्सिटी सरकली ला इतकी भयानक ट्रॅफिक जॅम होते कि कल्पना नाही करू शकत. पण आजपर्यंत कोणीही याकडे लक्ष दिलेले दिसत नाही. तीन ते चार किलोमीटर पर्यंत ट्रॅफिक जॅम होते . याचे कारण असे आहे कि दररोज ९. ३० ते ११. ३० या वेळेत ट्राफिस पोलीस सिग्नल बंद करून चौकात उभे राहतात. आणि १० ते १५ मिनिटे एका बाजूची ट्रॅफिक अडवून ठेवतात . यामुळे ३ ते ४ किलोमीटर पर्यन्त लांबच लांब रांगा लागतात . त्यांना हेपण काळात नाहीकी औंध रोड कडून सगळ्यात जास्त ट्रॅफिक युनिव्हर्सिटी कडे येते. मुळात यांना सिग्नल बंद करायचे अधिकार आहेत का, आणि असेल तर ते असे रोज करता येतात का ?. यामुळे तयहोते काय कि क्रॅम्ह्णाला पण त्रास होतो आणि त्यांना काम नसटताना ४ ते ५ ज्यांना उभे राहावे लागते . ज्याची काहीच गरज नसते . जर सिग्नल चालू असेल तर आमचा त्रास तर कमी होईल आणि त्यांचे जे ४ - ५ शिपाई उभे असतात त्यांना पण दुसरे ट्रॅफिक कडे लक्ष देता येईल. आणि हे कायम चालू आहे. तरी याची पुणे ट्रॅफिक पोलीस प्रमुख यांनी नोंद घेऊन योग्य कारवाई करावी.

today a police man near Magarpatta stopped me and asked for the license and other details like name and phone number, after that he asked me to go but after some time I received a message about paying e challan and offence mentioned was "license not carrying". I don't understand this. how can he send me a challan even after showing the license.
please let me know what should I do now.

I need the evidence regarding the same, and i am not going to pay any challan without the evidence.

How do i know, that i really broke the traffic rule, as i make sure to halt bike before white line.

Today morning i was riding my two wheeler, met accident with rash motor cycle driver tending to jump one way.
Two in no. Tracfic police appeared minutes after the accident and fined the motorcyclist, taken me to safety. Luckily i am safe and no much damage to my vehicle.
Sir,
I am a senior citizen and armed forces veteran, my intention to avoid such accident. I believe this would have been well avoided if the traffic police on duty were seen at entry point of one way and not far away, not visible, two of them together. Presence of police at the no entry point, well visible from distance, would have defenetely discouraged violators and accident would have been avoided. I believe, positioning traffic police away from point of defaulter is good for collecting fine or may promote illegal bribing and no way helping avoid accidents.
I am for my own safety and safer traffic movement, suggest keep the duty traffic police prominently visible at entry point of one way or at signals from distance and not hiding at distance for collecting fines only.

While dropping my friend at J M Road, the traffic police came and issues a ticket of Rs 200 saying you cannot stop here.
The board sign was circle with only slash - which means you can drop someone and should be in the car, whereas on the opposite side there was sign of circle with cross - which means no stopping for drop also.
When I asked the Traffic police the difference between the two signs, he said both are same.
I explained the difference and also showed on the net the difference, but he is not willing to listen and just issued e-ticket.

I do not know what to do now or where to go for this unnecessary hassle.

Since the conrad hotel has started operating, there are multiple commercial vehicles which are parked illegally on nathan road (Off mangaldas road) they block the both sides of teh nathan road and this makes it difficult to drive as well as walk. They do not follow th speed limits or basic traffic rules. The drivers are a nuisance for the people who go out for walk. This is a usual feature throuhout the day. Please assist in getting this resolved

परंतू prashn एकाच आधीच फेर्ग्युसन रोड हा One - Way असतांना मी Wrong Side ने गाडी चालवत होतो हे कस शक्य आहे ???
एक विनंती rule मोडले असतील तर Fine नक्कीच करा पण असं बाहेर गाव वरून आलेल्या गाडी ला म्हणजेच पुणे तीळ पसासिंग नसलेल्या गाडी ला आडवून असं करू नका ...

Today on baner rd the single near mabaleswar hotel the traffic cop was standing far away from the signal i mistakenly jumped the single for u turn and was stoped by mr. Lokande who started with i have jumped the signal then you have tineed glass and talking on mobile when i aggred to jumping the signle and asked him about the rest of the charges he said i will have to pay at least 2000 for all this hearing this i asked him he was threatening me or what he said he can do it on the new technology and if i paid him 500rs he will not report the same. I refused to the same and asked him to do what he wanted to but told him the glass was originally by the company and not tinted. I received e chaln for ₹700 for jumping the signal and driving without licence. What is this i[censored] don't pay bribe we r criminals is this what is called good days. If they can link vehicle no to mobile no can't they see if we have valided licence. But they want to fool us and extort money from us. When i tried to meet the senior in the same he was on his side and asked me to do what ever i can. And started threatening me. Even the control room lady turned me down. God help us all.

There is to much double parking on kondhwa main road from satyanand hospital to Naaz hotel in which 4hospital are located inconvenient for walking public, shop's and hospitals due marriage hall tejas hall which is the reason for all inconvenience.so I request the traffic police to take immediate action on this issue by applying parking system in area.

Today rto police standing near university bridge named mr. Kishor kale stopped me as i was driving at yellow signal and asked for rs.200, but as there is scarcity of cash i asked him that i don't have cash can we swipe the card he said no and he collected rs.100 which was the only cash with me and didn't given me receipt for this.. Really these people are grabbing money from common people like anything they don't have shame to collect cash from people and not providing the receipt.. Pm is taking hard decisions against corruption but these people will not change.
Police man was so ridiculous that when i asked for his name hi said my name is kale and do whatever you want to do.
I really want action against these kind of rto police. They are for our security not to trouble us but unfortunately they do not care about safety of common people rto police are only for money collection.

This people do indicate any kind of authorization. They are not qualified to detect the offence which observed doing so without the knowledge of the traffic constable and at times settling the offence by themselves as observed taking money without the knowledge of the constable on duty. This has been observed at N.I.B.M. corner, kondhwa, SBI kondhwa br. Opp. Jyoti rest. Pune

Solution 1: Make Strict One way Only to Khadki Bazaar for limited time slot from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The road should be strict closed for all vechicles during this slot. Put barricades at Signal to stop traffic coming from Khadki Bazaar to Dapodi. Now Make the Road Signal Free with free flowing traffic from pune to Mumbai and viceversa.
Divert the traffic to road from khadki bazaar to Khadki Railway Station (Via Miltiary – Santaji Ghorpade Road Route)
Solution 2: Remove Divider on Mumbai-Pune at Signal from PCMC Side and extend temporary road by few feets using barricades, which means 18 meter choked road will be 22-25 meter.
Solution 3: Implement Solution 2 and in-parallel observe strict No Parking in the chowk for 50 meter stretch (at Pune-Dapodi Side) and remove temporary enchrochment. So that there is free flowing traffic from Pune to PCMC.
Solution 4: Root Cause Problem:- Follow up with PMC Enchroachment team and Mayor to acquire land on priority of first 3-4 houses at that corner of road length which is 18 meters towards pune city and remove the encroachment.

I have been travelling from hinjawadi to wakad for my office for more than an year now. The traffic was manageable and was running as it should during peak office hours, but since last 2-3 weeks traffic management has crossed all intended rules for smooth operation. The people coming from outside hinjawadi to hinjawadi phase1, 2 3.. Are creating all kind of problems for road safety, violating all possible rules. The hinjawadi traffic police created a temporary bike lane using traffic pylons for a specific slot (8:30-10:30) on opposite road (Road from hinjewadi to pune city) so that the four wheelers and two wheelers can be seperated. The condition now is that almost all the vehicles has encroached or i should say hijacked the entire opposite parallel road. Be it car, auto, even mini trucks all are using the wrong side to travel to hinjawadi using the bike line making it 4-5 lanes. Leaving our side of road to 1 lane only. This is creating jam making us cover 3 km in 30min+ time. You can see tha attached image description for reference. On the spot traffic cops are helpless too considering the offenders are in hundreds of number.

I lived in mumbai for over 4 decades and when compared to mumbai, pune the traffic rules violation is quite common.in front of the cops 2 wheelers and car drivers break the signal and dont even bother about any thing. Cops go compleltely blind eyes. This should immediately change. The dept. First to educate the cops to be more work oriented and punish the erring people then and there. Even after so many incidents of accidents, etc in pune city why corrective measures have not been initiated.
I think complete overhauling is required in the dept. The cops also should be transferred from one place to another so that there is no comfort zone is created and their work become visible. When you come across a police man some sense of respect to be there in common people. The dept need to inculcate such practices.
