In the last month or so it is the 3rd time that we have come across insects in the Verka sealed pouch. I don't know what these people are doing these days or from where they are buying milk or what God knows...Please do something about the hygiene concerned people. We are losing trust in your product.. Your prices are shooting up and your quality is touching all time low.

i wanted to get supply of verka milk at home for everyday use and for that i searched no. of distributors and deals and even verka milk marketing guys but even after calling them again and again no one cared at all and they just say that i myself should go to the market to buy everyday.. i also wanted to buy other products like ghee and stuff on regular basis but there is no info on their website or no one is even willing to care about sale...

I m a resident of. Chandigarh. The quality of verka milk has been going down consistently but since last few days a different synthetic taste is coming from the milk. In fact the things we make from the milk has the same bad taste. So please look into the matter at the earliest. After all you can't play with people's health just for making some extra money.

I purchased a vanilla ice cream cup from verka outlet in main market of punjab university but there was a dead ant in it. I got it exchanged but the new cup had a small mosquito dead in it. I am afraid i may have swallowed an organism too beacause i felt something go down my throat. Kindly look into such quality issue.

With help of this forum I would like to bring light on the scandal conducted Punjab Verka booth in Sector 22-C (Booth No. 22/9) near health center.
This Verka booth tenant has taken lot of public land into the verka booth with building real concreate wall and also closed only passage in the park for the general public.

This is the nexus of verka people chandigarh administrator who has taken land...

In Harmilap Nagar pin . code 140603 shop keepers are charging above the mrp for green packet of half liter verka milk. Kindly do the needful.

i am a resident of Panchkula Sector 4. All retailers except some sell verka milk one ruppee per kg above the Maximum retail price . Though there is a verka milk plant in mohali. Whereas in other cities like Chandigarh and Mohali what practice has been adopted. Govt needs to do something about it. If you ask for the bill so that a complaint can be filed in the district forum, one is refused for the bill too. Even we can tell the name of retailer i.e. Raj Dairy and Quality Sweets, etc.

There is a grocery shop in Rail Vihar, MDC 4, Panchkula. The verka milk sold out here is on the price more then MRP. The shop owner doesnt cooperate and charges extra Rs. 1-2 per litre of milk.

On complaining the reason given is they are not getting enough profit on selling the packets on MRP.

Even on saying that a complaint can be registered in the consumer court nothing changes.

I even doubt that the shop is registered one and allowed to function the way it is doing right now.

VERKA HAS A BOOTH AT REAR SIDE OF COURTS, MODEL GRAM NEAR FIROZ GANDHI MARKET, LUDHIANA. THE MRP OF SWEET LASSI IS RS 15.00, THE SHOPKEEPER WAS SELLING ME LASSI FOR 18.00.
WHEN ASKED HE SAID, I GET ONLY 1.50 RS MARGIN IF I SELL IT RS 15.00, SO I AM SELLING AT RS 18.00, WHEN I ASKED FOR BILL HE SAID I CAN NOT GIVE U BILL, BUT WE ALL HERE SELL AT THIS PRICE ONLY.

The packets of milk produced by Verka have their MRP printed via a stamp ink instead of it being printed during the manufacture and printing of the packet itself.

The MRP printed on the packet is Rs. 11.00 only, but they have put a stamped price of Rs. 12.50 (stamped price on 05/11/2011) on the side of the packet. This has been an ongoing practice for a long time now and needs to be reviewed for legality. Are manufacturers allowed to stamp prices instead of having them printed on the packets?

I am regular buyer of a Verka Milk 500 ml*3/4 (Gold packet) from the Sector 55 . The MRP of the Milk is Rs. 15.50/ - for 500 ml but the rehri wala (Authorised by verka milk plant mohali for selling their products in our sector) charging Rs 32/- for one kg, 48 for 1-1/2 Kg , when i asked the rehriwala why are you selling the product more than MRP then they said 15.50/- rate is only for customer who have taken a coupen from me, otherwise rate is 16/-we have stopped buying the milk from the rehriwala and needs your help for stopping this nuesence. Rehriwala belongs to Booths from Phase-6. You can also check between 07.15 Hr to 09:00 Hrs in the morning. (Daily)

Pls. look into this metter on urgent basis so that he can't sell the products higher than MRP

Here there is one diary near my village... we give milk to them and take money back monthly according to fats cantain in it. If the Fat of milk is 6.8% he print the slip of rupees 17.30 per litre.. Same it Fat comes 8.6% still he print out the slip of 17.00/rs per liter. Sometime he gives print out of Fat 6.9% as a 23.45/rs per liter..
Lots of poor peaple facing this problem. we said many time to him ,but he is not responding to our point.

verka shakti milk packing date stamp is wrong. i purchase 500ml milk packet on date[protected]. but the packing date is wrong in milk packet. date of manufacture is on the packet is[protected]. milk plant use advance date in milk products .
how to possible is i purchase milk on[protected] but the date packing is[protected]. please check the product stamp. i think verka milk product use expired milk.
verka use old milk to sale in new packets.and change date stamp.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am aregular customer for purchasing the verka milk regularly from the verka milk agency Derabassi.
Priorly he was charging 50 paise extra for each packet and now he has increased it to Rs.1 for each paket and we are buying 8 pkts daily means we are paing Rs.8 extra daily amd for a month it is Rs.240 and for a year it is Rs.2880. Which is really a very high amount which we are paing him extar for purchasing the milk. It is really diguisting. I have asked him to give me the bill for the same but he refused that iam not having any bill and whereever you want to go ,go and give the complaint as nothing will happen to me. Govt. should take some hard steps toward such shopkeepers that in the futre before selling the product higher then the MRP they will think twice or either they should close these agencies, bcoz by this way they are making fool to local civilians.

PD Store which is situated in Sector-70 Mohali does not supplies Verka Milk to the residents of Sector Mohalli at their door steps. When asked for the door to door service, the vendor replies very arrogantly and is reluctant to provide door to door service. The agency of the vendor should be withdrawn if he is not ready to provide the service.

I have buy a Verka Milk 500 ml (yellow packet) from the Kalka market. The MRP of the Milk is Rs. 10.50/- for 500 ml but i have purchase the packet of Rs. 12/-. when i told the shopkeeper why are you selling the product more than MRP then they said we have buy the milk from the whole seller @ Rs. 11.25/-.

Pls. look into this metter on urgent basis because maximum shopkeeper are sell the products higher than MRP

This is to bring to your kind notice that I am a resident of Gulmarg Avenue, Kotla Road, Jalandhar. This is a case where a common man is being charged price higher than the printed MRP.

A standard Verka half litre milk pack of green label has MRP Rs. 13.50 printed on it. But I have been sold the same for Rs 15/- by a shopkeeper in my locality. I argued with the shopkeeper who instead of bringing...

This is to bring to your kind notice that, on Friday the 2nd of 2010, my wife Archana Sharma, purchased 400gms Curd cup for Rs. 09/- form VERKA outlet situated at Sector 23-D, Chandigarh (Near Pracheen Shiv Mandir) allotted to Mr. Rajan Sharma.
When the pack was opened it was found that the curd was not in proper shape instead there was white colored creamy substance. My wife and I immediately took the article to Mr. Rajan Sharma and complained about the article.
Mr. Rajan Sharma, who has been allocated Booth No. 23/9 showed very indifferent behavior and refused to exchange the article. When I insisted, he kept the article with him, and advised me to lodge the complaint to your good self or do what ever I want.
I told him that I am aware of the rules and regulations and as per consumer law it is my duty to inform the vendor first and in this case it was he. I also told him that VERKA has allocated the site to him and hence it is his responsibility to take up the matter with concerned authorities.
His reluctant and adamant behavior forced me to bring this matter to your good self, with faith that you will teach him some ethics and take appropriate action or else I will be forced to take up the matter with consumer court. He never provides the bills of the articles which he sells even, if demanded.
It will not be out of place to mention here that complete block is not satisfied with the vendor appointed by you but no one come forward as they want avoid legalities and have formed the opinion that he has well connections with the officials in VERKA and no action will be taken against him.
I hope you will look into this matter personally as people like Mr. Rajan Sharma are tarnishing the image of your organization and harassing the innocent public.
