That we are the total of 4 member of the legal heirs of Mr. Nachhattar Singh & we claimed the total amount of our father Nachhattar Singh G.PF. & other encashments or graduity and other claims regarding the LIC & life policies

I want to bring this matter into your kind attention that Bikar singh is using an "Air-conditioner" 2500W ,COOKING Heater 2000W, Geezer 2500W, Submersible 350W, Refrigerator 200W, More than 10 light bulbs each 100W, Electric press 1500W Telivision, computers, Inverter, and many more home appliance accessories illegally Via Kundi connection at his house and his metre-box inside the boundry of his house and it is really very horrible that when they go for out side for walk or market even then his many kind of home appliance accessories like specially air conditioner does not get stop , it is running for his doggies , they are preparing all kind of foods on cooking heaters permanently and use cooking gas for his Luxury CARS only . They both are Husband and wife working as government teacher and they can afford if they use but It is really unfortunate to say that one when I discussed about misuse of electricity with his son 24 year old B.Tech in mechanical, I am very surprised with his reply that everybody is corrupt so why we not. Sir, kindly scrub this offence. If checked, the culprits can be caught red handed in between (5:00 PM to 7:00 am). Kindly look into this matter and do the appropriate action. We shall be thankful to you for this.

Punjab State Electricity Board claims to have provided online bill payment facility. I was able to successfully create my login/password couple of months ago, but my bill is uploaded only after due date, which means I am unable to pay online. My account no. is Z33UF211974N; I have sent several emails to contact information on the web site. Replies coming that you request is being looked into, but bill is never uploaded on time. I am now waiting...

However Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has started Online bill Payment Facility. But I am feeling very regret to let everybody know that the online Service of PSPCL is very poor and highly deplorable. As the site is not being updated on daily basis. It appears that the Employees's attitude toward their job is highly unacceptable and they don't want to carry out the job in timely manner. These sort of employees should be retrenched from their job as early as possible.

Subject : to replace the cable

Sir,

I, the resident of 4 GF, MIG Flat Dhingra Housing Complex, Mall Mandi, Amritsar have already brought to your notice that the cable from LT pole to my meter is absolutely naked. Not only my cable is in such position the cables going to other flats passing through my courtyard are also in the same position. I have failed to understand how the cable of other residents are passing through my house. This may be the clear case of trespassing. Due to these naked cables frequent sparks take place. This has become a routine. This is to state that once the spark was so intense that clothes lying in my backyard had got burnt. The same was brought to the notice of the authority. Every time some temporary arrangement is made. Similar sparks have occurred in the last week and again during the last night. As a result power supply is interrupted. I have to lodge a complaint. Just on 22 .8.10 I lodged a complaint on telephone no.[protected]. my complaint no. is 243260. the person who had come to rectify the fault asked me to replace the entire wire. In this connection I again requested at the above stated no. the response from other side was to contact the local authorities to which I have already made numerous complaints. But so far no concrete measures have been taken despite my personal visits to the authorities.

You are requested to intervene in the matter and get replace the worn out cables. And is further requested to shift the cables of other residents those are passing through my residence.

We live in Village Naura (5 kms from Banga), District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (formerly Nawanshar) PIN 144508.

Seven days a week for about a month now, we have been suffering from excessive power cuts. The cuts started with a schedule from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. then 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. then 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. then 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Except for last Saturday (aug 7, 2010) when we had no power from 6 a.m. till 1 p.m. then it came only to disappear again numerous times that day.

However, it is now so erratic that there is no way to tell when the power will be cut. We pay our bills on time and without making a fuss, but this is now getting to be very inconvenient. Just because we live in a village does not mean we have less right to getting electrical power. We pay our bills, we should get what we pay for as the bills have never shown any adjustments for the power cuts we experience. We have an asthma patient at home who needs her nebulizer several times a day. A nebulizer needs electricity and not everyone can afford to buy a power generator. Even inverters are starting to show strain due to excessive power cuts.

sir, with humble request i state that we are the residents of 140 amar nagar gulab devi hospital road jalandhar, sir these days we are suffering problem due to low voltage . At night we find it difficult to sleep properly as the fans stop working due to low power supply . Now due to low voltage other appliances will surely get affected .these all problems are occuring as the people sharing the same electricity connection are using...

i am student from kapurthala districk. Sir i have complaint many time regarding the kundi connection in our locality. In our locality there are intentianaly using the kundi connection thereby providing loss to both punjab govt and us. Ar there kundi connection allways lead to low voltage and power tripp off. Problem many times. Sir many of the ajit nagar near jathere wala gurudwara using these kundi conneation and the rtreet 5ight of ajit nagar allways glowing but nobody can do anything about it. Sir kindly look in to the matter and help us.

Now, I want to inform you that I am not receiving my electricity bills since long. The last bill received by me is dated 30.03.2009 for Rs. 830/-, which was paid by me vide ch. No. 15254 dated 31.03.2009. Since then, I have not received any bill. I made complaints regarding non receipt of bill to PSEB many times, but no action was taken. In spite of non receipt of bills, I have made the following payments from time to time as suggested by your department after 31.03.2009 :-

Sir, due to non receipt of electricity bills, I face difficulty in depositing the amount due within time. The board also disconnected my connection on 16.03.2010 in my absence and I am suffering a lot, even if there is no fault on my part. So, you are requested to please look into the matter and instruct the relevant person to prepare and handover the bill to me so that I may deposit the same in time to avoid the hardship in future.

Further, my name is wrongly entered in data base of your system as Sarwan Singh in stead of Sharvan Singla. You are also hereby requested to correct the same.

Further, I wish to suggest you that there should be a fool proof system of delivery of bills to the consumers and the contractors should be held liable for non delivery of bills and not the consumers. E.g. they should take the signatures of the person on preparing the bills and keep it on record for future reference or bills to be delivered by post.

On 17th feb 2010 two meters bearing above account numbers were removed from my residence and installed at nearby street pole without prior intimation.

The insulation of the wiring after the removal of the meters was not done properly and appears to be hazardous.

Another cable has been laid from the meter a/c no. Z37UK211235L at the pole which was not fixed adequately and is hanging loosely.

Necessary action may please be taken at an early date to rectify the defect

I would like to inform you about a letter from P.S.E.B. dated 06/10/2009. Memono.1252. register no.36/337. Account no. AA26/432. in which I am asked to deposit the amount of Rs.68,299 on account of tampering the meter.
I want to state that in the month of may-2009, meters of many houses have been changed in the village to fix the electric meters outside of all the houses. And the same has been done with me also. The meter of my house is also taken away in the same manner by replacing it with a new meter. There was no issue at the time of replacing the meter with the new one. No sealing has been done, only one signature has been taken to change the old meter with a new one. No other information has been given about anything like tampering or stealing the electricity. They have taken away the old meter by putting it in their bag.
Suddenly we have received this letter, after 4 and half months, we are shocked to see this letter about tampering the meter and stealing the electricity and a fine of Rs.68, 299 to deposit in between 15 days or the supply of electricity will be cut. This is totally a false blame on me because there are only three persons living in this house. I am 80 years old and a heart patient , even I cannot walk properly .The other is my wife who has also the same condition as mine. The third person is my daughter-in-law who does not know anything about the meter or the electricity. Do you think that we can do any tampering with the electric meter? We have never even touched the meter. Moreover we are paying the same amount of bills with the new meter.
I am a heart patient and I could not even sleep properly for the last three days. P.S.E.B. will be responsible if anything happens wrong to me. So I request you to look into the matter and do justice with me.

Dear sir,

1. I am a serving army officer belongs to Punjab and presently posted to hyderabad.

2. My parents are residing in House opp Kachnar resturant (Rajpura Ambala Road i.e, NH1), Vill Dharian, PO Mugal sarai, Tehsil-Rajpura, Distt Patiala, Punjab, Pin-140417. we are having electricity connection for past 18 years trhough Baproar village transmission line. We heve been paying regular electricity bills on time and there are no dues pending against us till date.

3. Now the Baproar village has got upgraded Transmission connection under Urban Pattern Electricity Scheme around 2 years back, under which the domestic electricity connections will get power supply for 18-24 hrs in a day.

4. The PSEB without intimating/ consent had shifted our domestic electricity connection from above mentioned transmission line to local irrigation pumps transmission line, where power supply is available for 6-8 hrs in 24 hrs.

5. It is intimated that my old parents and grandmother (all senior citizens) are residingin the hoouse, and due to non availabity of electricity are constantly facing problems, like due to non availability of electricity, my grandmother (85 years old) fell down in darkness and had major injury on her lower part of the body. Few days back she had undergone major operation and is presently cannot move and is on bed rest. Non availability of electricity add-on to her pain as the weather is very hot and humid.

6. It is also intimated that there are three transmission lines passing nearby :-
(a) Kachnar Resturant 200 m away
(b) Another transmission line 250 m away
(c) Baproar village transmission line few meters away.

7. It is intimated that my father who is a senior citizen, is complaining and running behind the elctricity deptt officials for past 2 years and had given number of applications for reinstating the electricity connection from village Baproar transmission line. He also requested that if the connection cannot be provided from village Baproar transmission line then connection of our home as well as five more connections be shifted to some other upgraded transmission line which are under Urban Pattern Electricity Scheme. Dear Sir,
i have a medium scale hosiery manufacturing unit in Ludhiana. 50 % of our production is exported to middle east and europe. These days the electricity situation in the city is so poor that we are unable to meet our orders on time, as a result most of our orders for domestic and export markets stand cancelled.. This manufacturing unit is slowly becoming loss making venture.. diesel genrators stop picking heavy loads after 2-3 hours of continous use.. moreover all machienes do not run on genrators.. It is near to impossible run industry without power.

Whole city uses genrators for long hours and near 12.30 pm you can see sky turning black in colour due to emission from gen sets.. respiratory diseases are increasing day by day in city..

In this situation how can we fight rising global temprature, i think we are the largest contributors in global warming..

massive use of diesel due to power cuts causes shortage if diesel in city and we run like animals from one pump to another in search of diesel..

It is becoming impossible to run factory when we have 6 hour cut in working hours of 9am to 6pm.. plz help out i am sure that govt can definately come up with some effective solution.

Dear sir
This is to inform you that due to excessive power cuts in ludhiana, higher education suffers alot. Students preparing for courses like-MBA, MCA, etc. have to appear for many online tests but these days, the power cuts are for 5-6 hours. Students are not even able to appear for a 2.5 hour online test during the day time.
Moreover, the timings of power cuts are not disclosed to the people in advance. It really feels...
