Punjab State Power Corporation [PSPCL] — Meter box taking half street

I live in amritsar and work late night.
While coming back from office i hit with your meter box because it is located in a unexpected manner. It has taken half of the street. I have attached image of it and tell me is this the way this box should be. How can you pass this ?
