[Resolved]  Rack Infotech — Services not offered as promised despite of full payments

I contacted pune based http://rackinfotech.com/ in October 2013 for a CMS ecommerce portal design, they wanted 45K to complete the project with in 3 weeks. It took them almost 4 months to deliver the so called complete website. Their developers failed to integrate the payment gateway despite of various attempts and always kept blaming the payment gateway company for their incompetence. I managed to get a virtual payment gateway from my gateway provider in order to start my business and never used the web payment form even once due to the issues. After 4 months all of a sudden i received an email from google that my website has been sending phishing and spam emails. they provided the link of my contact form. After checking the contact form I realized that there wasnt any captcha to filter out spam. I spoke to my hosting provider and did everything they suggested after which they unsuspended my account so that i can rework the contact form. I contact Rack infotech again to get the issue resolved and they had to say was the problem is not due to the way the website has been designed, its due to an issue with the hosting provider or some virus as some body might have hacked the website. This attitude from them infuriated me to the core as they all just tried to throw the towel and blame someone else rather than finding the root cause of the problem and helping me out of the situation. I feel sorry for the behaviour of the directors and developers and suggested everyone to not use their services at all. Its not worth the pain, time and money. There are plenty of genuine companies who can do 200 times better, quicker and efficient job at much much reduced prices.
