I have an 15 year old Racold Electric Geysor, I want to replace it with a new one . So i contacted the service centre people, he said Altro 10 lt can be fitted there, he charged me Rs 250 for this . I told him to get a new geysor and fit it . He said ok . Today one Mr Prabhakar Nair ([protected])calls me up and says you give me full payment and i will fit the geysor. I purchased a 10L water Geyser on 17 /11/2014 of Rs/ 5, 900 .It is not working .I filed the complaint to the distributer Sunderam, Kota .They get it repaired once after two days again it was again stop working . On 6 Dec 2014 again second time I asked them for repairing as the geyser was not working .Today on 8 Dec 2014 I called them atleast 15 times but they didn't send any service person nor they replace it ....

I had purchased three geysers from 'Sharda Electricals' at Jalori gate Jodhpur. One of them was Racold- Eterno 2 ( other two being Haier). This geyser was of 10 Litres and I was told that 'Racold' is supposed to be the best company in the world. To my surprise, I found that Haier geysers were giving excellent service in form of longer supply of hot water, ( both are of 10 Litres). While the Racold gives a short duration...

The Eterno 2 model has a design defect where the heating element is coming in contact with the surface of tank, there is knocking sound once the geyser is switched on. I got the whole equipment replaced when I first had the problem, the replaced product has the same issue and has not been sorted yet by the Racold team. I hope prospective buyers to avoid this model....

We had purchased Racold water geyser in 2008. The coil expired on 5 April 2013 , and we got a new coil replaced on 8 April 2013 from Racold service center located in Wilson Garden,Bangalore. Racold sells its products for reliability but with two Geysers I bought I had bad experience:
1. They are highly energy consuming.
2. The element is so bad that it gets used in some months and Racold only changes the element from the company. For a normal Geyser, element is 280 Rs maximum for change of element and service whereas Racold charges 975 Rs each time for such a bad quality element for a geyser of 25 Litres.

I am calling service center since 14 December 2012 to rectify my geyser problems but there is no attempt to rectify my problem. every-time i call them they tell me their service engineer tried to call me but there was no answer this is utter rubbish...once or twice it can happen...
