This is with reference to our BSES domestic electricity connection (CRN No. [protected]) in the name of Mrs. Nirmal Kinra.
We had received a letter (Notice of Demand) dt. 19/06/09 (Ref No. [protected]) from BSES informing us o[censored]npaid due against our last bill due to some reason (cheque returned by bank) and that we should pay this amount either in cash or PO/DD within 15 days of receipt of that notice (ie last date 03/07/09).
Anyhow, as a good customer, we went to the nearest payment center (E-Blk, G.K. II, New Delhi) to pay cash. However we were sent back three times on some pretext.

To make matters worse, our connection was disconnected without reason (fuse & wire removed) last evening (25/06/09), 8 days before the 15 day period provided to us for making this payment.

We immediately went to the same customer care center but no one was ready to attend to us. We finally managed to pay today (26/06/09) morning and our connection was restored (receipt no. 65783 dt. 26/06/09).

We were made to suffer & harassed by BSES for no fault of ours.

Sir,
This is complaint for Electricity Theft. Mr. Sukhbir Singh Tomer Address: V-80, Kh. No-104 khajoor wali gali no-02 Ghonda Delhi. He is Theft Electricity. He has One A.C.+03 T.V+02 Water motor+ 02 Frez+ 04 Room and many Electricity items.

He theft electricity after 8:00 pm to 08:00 Am Evening day under the meter to attacted with wire and use under the meter power socit for this use theft.
Please don't open my name and help to stop Theft Electricity

    DAILY EXCESSIVE POWER FAILURE IN LAJPAT NAGAR-4, DAYANANAD COLONY

    I am a resident of BLOCK - B, Dayanand Colony, Lajpat Nagar-4.
    From the past 15 days there have been excessive powercuts, as much as 6-8 hrs every 24hrs.
    The powercuts occur at any time without any warnings or proper schedule.
    We know very well due to shortage in summer we have to face the powercuts but it seems that
    Block -B of Dayanand Colony has to face the maximum power failures.
    The situation becomes worse as there seems to be no proper schedule.
    The BSES Customer Care is also of no help as they never have any proper information.

    The condition of powercut is very frustrating and its becoming difficult to manage our
    daily lives without electicity.

    I request BSES to look into this matter as earliest as possilble because public is
    very angry and frustated with this slackness in service.

      THERE HAS BEEN DAILY POWER FAILURE OF MORE THAN 9 HOURS WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE IN ANY CONDITION. WE KNOW VERY WELL DUE SHORTAGE IN SUMMER WE HAVE TO FACE THE POWER CUTS BUT IT DOES NOT MORE THAN 9 HOURS. IT SHOULD BE 4 or 5 HOURS WITH PROPER SCHEDULED. AS WE CAN MANAGE OUR DAILY LIFE ACCORDINGLY.

      An annoyed Consumer — Daily Power Cuts

      Hi,

      Whats happening to the power situation in Delhi recently. Everyday we are facing power cuts for 3-4 times in a day and for 1 and a half HOUR at a stretch.

      What is the Government doing for it. And we were told to believe that come 2010 & there will be no power cuts in Delhi. Cant see any improvement till now, though. Why cant we get a continuos supply like in Bombay when we are ready & in fact paying the increased tariffs. JUST WHY.

      Do the people in power have any Answers?
      Same is the situation in Njafgarh Area. The service provided by BSES is pathetic. No power in this area
      for more than 8 hours on daily basis.

      Power Cuts are very normal in this sector of around 10 - 15 yrs.

      BSES persons have no sense of Responsiblity . May be they are no 1 in this world to provide pathetic services.
      Sir, I am a resident of C-17, dayanand colony, Lajpat nagar-4, new delhi-24, we are badly affected in the night hours since last three days.On trying to your phones no body was picking up the phone and everytime we try to contact it is coming either busy to deal with other customer or not reachable.

      Please look in to the matter to find out the alternative solution to satisfy the customer service.

      I am a resident of Tilak Nagar Area, Block 21. The Power situation is getting bad to worst in this area from last 4-5 days. Apart from ususal power cuts in the day that last upto 3-4 hrs. they cut light in the night as soon as you are in your bed, some times cut starts at 10 p.m. sometimes at 11 p.m. and last upto 4 hrs . Whole night we just wait that light would come and when after about 4 hrs a glimpse of light appears and we close our doors and windows and put on our Air Conditioner the Princes LIGHT says Bye Bye again. It is so frustrating and irritating that we feel like giving a punch to the person who is playing with the switches.
      Last night i.e. on the night of 24th they have crossed every limit. The Princes Light gone by 10.30 p.m. never came till 2.30 and then missed came again at 3.30 and missed again and finally came at around 5.00 a.m. with a voltage os less than 100.
      Apart from these the Stablizer placed in between Blocks 21 & 22 is unstable and witnissing a series of problems.
      IS ANY BSES Personnel there THAN
      WHY DON'T YOU CHECK IT, DAMN IT
      WHY DON'T YOU REPLACE THIS STABLIZER THAT CAUSES PROBLEMS EVERY NOW AND THEN AND CATCHES FIRE A NUMBER OF TIMES.
      WHY YOU PEOPLE PLAY WITH US.

      I dont know what is current rate per unit for those people who are staying as a tenants
      I have been staying in Delhi for last six month and wherever i stayed i was charged rs five per unit.
      Currently it is five and half but i dont have any evidence as a proof but it is the fact
      the poor in Delhi have always been influenced by the rich and selfish people

All ready i complain on 06 July in customer and my complain no. 1977 2nd time i complain on 10 July and my complain no. 1916 3rd time i complain on 13 July and my complain no. 1499 and again 4th time i complain and i got my complain no. 1561 wher i complain they issue me a new complain no. but no body going to resolve this problem our problem poll box is damaged from 1 month ago sparking on this poll fluctuations and several time we got very large sparking and several time engineer came there and he told us that tomorrow any body come here and he closed this issue but still this problem not resolve today i discuss with your customer care executive and she told me that if we got any urgent call then we resolve it on priority otherwise we taking time but allready i complain from 6th july so i request to you please replace this box without any mishap.Regards Jay Prakash Pandey Mob: [protected]
      No electricity in Vipin garden extension for the last 54 hours. Its been 8-10 hours electricity cut off on a daily basis which is unaceptable in any circumstances. But the BSES are doing nothing to resolve the issue. BSES is the worst and is a big .

THIS ALL SITUATION MAKES US WONDER THAT HOW LONG THESE REPAIRS AS TO TAKE AND WHY UNNECESSARY HARASSMENT IN DISCONTINUITY OF ELECTRIC SUPPLY IS MADE TO THE RESIDENT OF OUR BLOCK.

      The situation is still remain same after 3 Years even..Every day there is a power Faliure . Even since yesterday night no electricity. An one has come till now for checking the root cause for the same.

        I have filed four complaints with no. 8114, 1683, 7180 and 4706. At the time of logging following complaints its said by customer care guys that the problem of low voltage will be trouble shoot within one hour, but still no action is taken on these complaints.

        Its looks like employee are not working in BSES office or they are not worth of it.
        As a user i pay my bills on time and it my right to ask the service.

          Sir, a Street Light Pole No. BSES/C-271, near H.No. E-3/261, Nand Nagri, Delhi-110093, provided in Main Road, is not working for last Four Months. We have complained several times (3 times to Councilor and 2 time to BSES regd. on online), but no action has been taken yet. One time come BSES karamchari and said we have No Stair, No Wire, No Power Switch and not extra time, if you available all accessories you call me my Mobile No. [protected] (Mr. Vijay) upto 4.00 pm. and he go not comes again.
          "Kya Meri Delhi Mai Aise Hi Kaam Hota Hai, Meri Delhi Aise Hi Sanwregi".
          Please restore the security light at the earliest to avoid any trouble.

          This has reference to your captioned notice cum bill for Rs. 18, 886 dt. 06.05.09 on account of meter tempering for premises 50 F, Pocket – A-3, DDA Flat, Kondli Mayur Vihar Phase-III, New Delhi – 1100096, kindly be noted that we (Prem Upadhyay & Kusum Upadhyay) purchased the above flat on 19th January’2009 from Mr. K.G. S. Damodaran, a resident who was Govt. employee with Sarvodaya Society of School, New Delhi. Mr. Damodaran is now retired and moved to his home town.

          Mr. Damodaran who showed the Electricity Bills for last few months which was duly paid by him and even, we checked the same. There was no arrears shown in the column. Apart from this, we also checked all the dues regarding house tax, water bills etc.

          I have following objections and would like to say that it is not possible for me to settle at this situation:

          1. Your regular consumer bill is not showing any arrears which to be paid to you on account of enforcement or meter tempering.
          2. The amount which is mentioned on the consumer electricity bill is just mentioned in small lines / paragraph, neither shows any arrear or bold marked columns.
          3. Please be noted that One particular block of building (there are 16 flats i.e. 8 on front & 8 on rear side), it means there are 16 electricity meters on one block. If there is any fault or problem in electricity supply, a flat owner call or wish to check the fault. You are neither sure nor correct which meter is going to check.
          4. In a normal routine, the flats are sold/purchased and a owner of the flat sells the property through dealer showing your consumer bill only. There is no control if such miss-happenings are there.

          I do not understand that a new purchaser who, even is not at any fault and has not committed any murder, rape or any heinous crime should be panelized.

          In today’s circumstances, when business are low and recession is in market. The salary we get are already cut by 15-20% and moreover, there are no increments in perks. This is not justifiable at any cost.
          I am SORRY to say that I can not pay this amount in any manner. It is the fault of BSES Yamuna Power Ltd. only and must consider the above points more strongly to collect such outstanding.

          In view of the above, I would request you to consider the above and relieve me from above penalties.

          Request to shift the electric pole
          Dear Sir,

          Please find attached updated pic of the pole after visit of your technician, kindly shift this as its very harmful for my family. We also met with an incidence our wet bed sheet goes on that pole and some sparking are there its going to burn but fastly we throw it down from wooden stick, some children are also playing there. Please don't wait for next accident or incidence, kindly take action at the earliest.

          This is bring to your kind notice that street light of Dwarka Sector 18, Pocket B, Rose Apartment &amp; Golf Link Road Delhi 110075 is not working for more than a year. The whole main road plunge into darkness after sun set make causes of theft and security hazard. We have logged complaint several times but no action has been taken yet.             Sir/Madam,

            Why this is happening to us, why the digging in front of our showroom at uttam nagar is not yet covered ? Labours are coming and working for a day or twice a week and are vanished for the whole week. What is the reason behind this ? Is our government has not provided the funds to the BSES so that they can work in a proper manner. Why these types of complaint are coming like a compliments for our government offices like BSES, ...etc... I am again sending some of the photographs. I don't know who will pay the loss which has been done to our company past business, the BSES or may me us.

            BSES — Slow work of BSES

            SIr/Madam,

            This is to inform that working of BSES in regard with the digging in front of our showroom at Uttam nagar
            is very very very very very ... slow. The digging was done on around 15th of March 2009 and till date nothing has been done. Please do the needful if possible. I am sending some photographs in regard with this issue.

              sir, I want to inform you that our house was closed from 18 months for the maintaince is not proprer their bses has charged rs 13850 against the 241 units when the meter is disconnected the reading is 21325 the previous bill has been paid by us meter reading is 21084 on 6/01/06 the complain has been registerd 3 times in krishna nagar branch the appeal has been rejected by the chief manager the complain nos are 1, E[protected]ON 16/07/07 2, CHD 8066 ON 16/03/08 3, CHD 5849 ON 16/03/089 SIR Plz give your attention the complaint as soon as possible

                Dear Response,

                My name is Navin Kumar, and my address is D 151, Gali No. 6, Harsh Vihar, Delhi 93. I have applied for a new connection on 16.5.2009. At that time the employees of the BSES promised me to visit my home within two-three days, but not visited till date.
                I made an enquiry on 25.5.2009 about this, they told they went to my home which was found locked. But actually my home was not locked at all during this period. On this day, they again told to visit my home again on the next day. I am waiting for them regularily and not leaving my home, but even after this, no one has come to visit my home nor given me any type of intimation. I have also given them two mobile numbers to contact if address or myself not found there.
                The company promised to costumer that lhey are provide the connecton within 2-3 days but I think that the company not prove these worlds to customer.

                I have also tried to contact the BM and the CO of the BSES at the numbers given at website, but these numbers always comes busy.

                I request you to please Please provied me Electercity Connecton, I'm really very thankful to you.

                  DEAR SIR/MADAM,
                  I am a consumer of BSES power limited and my address is Flat No302, Bengali colony, Mahavir Enclave New Delhi=45. In all flats in my premises got current flow in neutral causing shock after switching off all the electrical components. Today I got a heavy shock when I opened my freez and touched my computer. To confirm this development I went to all the flats and found similar problem. I made several calls to39999707 the number provided by the BSES but I was being hold up for several minitues and informed that I am in queue. I am sure that there was no one to attend me. It is nothing but a cheating the customers by saying that "our customer care executive are busy with other calls", How much time should I wait 5 minitues 10 minitues. This recorded calls also says "you can call some other time" Sir is it fair when I am facing such a dangerous life threatening situation. I tried to make a complaint through their web site but declined to accept. I hope my complaint here would rectify the caring of customer of BSES. Thanks

                    Sir,


                    I am forced to write this mail after I am fed up of your officials at BSES office, Shankar Road. Day before yesterday my electricity meter stopped working. I called up customer care immediately but came to know that the complaint for meter replacement could not be entertained when customer is getting electricity. Next day ( yesterday ) I called up customer care again and asked to log the complaint but again got the same reply and also I was informed to submit an application along with the fees of Rs. 57/- to Shankar Road office.


                    Today When one of my representative went to Shankar Road office in Room no. 103 for replacement of meter, the official ( Mr. Khem Raj) sitting there denied to take application for replacement of meter.He informed to clear the dues first when all previous bills are cleared.

                    Being a sincere customer it was my duty to inform BSES about the problem. But felt very disgraced to see the behaviour of your officials.

                    I have no problem as the electricity is coming to my office but the loss is of BSES.

                    Thanks and hoping to get an appropriate reply and action.

                    Electricity — Non working meter

                    Please try to look in to the below problem immediately

                    I am residing in the ground floor in the above mentioned flat address. In the above mentioned address, the person who is staying has 2 a/c, washing machine, grinder, heater, computer etc and they are using both the a/c simultanously through out day and night but still the amount charged for 2 months for them is just 350 to 400, this is happening for past 3 years. When i asked them to check the meter, they r not bothered and also they mostly stand and do some thing to the meter 10 days before the meter guy who will come to take reading. Even after we complaint to the meter reading guy, he is not ready to check their consumption and still he is charging the same.

                    Some body please look in to this immediately to avoid electricity theft which is biggest loss to the government. Pls pls look in to this

                      I am leaving at Vishwakarma colony m.b road near parladpur and without any information loadsheding is started regurarly. when i inquire from the grid they said that there is no load sheding. I only want to know why and how without any infromation from the competent authority of yours responsible staffs are switching off and on. Secondly elecricity bills pertaining to me is not droped in my letter box placed properly near the gate instead it is either thrown in front of the gate or handing over anyperson in the colonly.                       all time break downs, power failure, transformer burning... it seems all duplicate material/parts BSES is using in there machines!
                      all money is going into their pockets..
                      I Would encourage BSES to remove their setup and ask NDPL to serve now..

                        I am dweller of h.n. 50 palam ext. dwarka sec-7 New Delhi – 75. Sir I received a theft electricity bill Rs 77500 /- on my address with my father name from BSES side.

                        BSES describe inspection date may 05 and bill generated on 1st may 09 but the mentioned time our family not lived here and we had no any electricity meter also. When we started living there since June 05 we take the electricity meter and paid my all electricity bills last four year to till date.

                        Last date of submit of bill is 15-5-09

                        Please sir help us we are middle class family and tell us what we should do.

                          Hello,

                          I'm resident of Sarita Vihar Colony, New Delhi. Since last 2-3 days there has been frequent outage, the electricity cuts after every 1 hour for 30 mins and upto an hour starting from 9 am till late midnight. I have complaint several times at BSES Office thru customer support (complaint number #947) but they are clueless. The service of electricity is pathetic and the frequent outages will also harm other electronic equipments. All I get to hear from them its load shedding and they often even refuse to register the complaint probably to save themselves the embrassement. But I have never seen such an abhorrent and pathetic service ever before.

                          I hope you will look into the matter.

                              we hv a Regd.CHARITABLE NGO named (PRERNA RESEARCH SOCIETY).in tht premesis a new meter installed on 7-8-2008.in which display is faulty.we complaint it, but complaint not filed due to K.NO they told when 1st bill generate thn u get K.no after tht v again filed complaint after receive 1st bill.thn the company change meter wid new n old takeoff the old one n send to MMG lab.where lab shows a scratch mark found on around black button.hence meter is tampered n send a penality bill of Rs.58548/-on 5-3-2009.they also told tht u put more load thn santioned load(1kw)n they found the load 2.5kw approx. which is totally false .in thr report they show more electric equipment .regrding tht a videography done in which it is clearly proved.the last concern is tht the BSES company's report told tht meter is domestic n its use is of non domestic.in tht, our concern is tht the premesis hv activity of providing charitable services of DOT'S, MDT, polio Etc.is not treated as commercial activities.we hv all proofs regrding complaint. we also send a written complaint against bill to enforcement office (andrews ganj), cosumer grevence redressel forum.but still no responce in our favour. thn after v go to lok adalat where judge told the settlement in Rs22000/- but we denied becoz we dont do any kind of tampering n theft. hence we dont settle the case.
                              At last we consult to advocate n he advice us to go fr civil. still its too difficult.
                              so wt we do plz help us.we hv all supported document which prove tht its a false case of theft (tampering), misuse and overload.even their videograph shows the reality too.1 more thing tht thr r much difference in thr lab report is differ frm speaking order.

[protected] following are my complaint numbers with dates on 13 march 2009 complaint no. 1195, on 14 march 2009 complaint no. 543, on 15 march 2009 complaint no. 8, on 16 march 2009 complaint no. 259. Still I am not getting any good response from BSES.

                                    this is to inform you as we reside in mahavir enclave main palam dabri road new delhi gali n.o 3 my crn n.o is [protected]. si after the recent MLA election the power cuts in our area is enormes its about 10 to 12 howers a day as we are in winters still there is such a huge power cuts so what can we expect in the summers sir as we always complain in owr local kailash puri complain centre but there no reaply the power cut is specifically from gali n.o 3 to gali no 4 which has made our life miserable and under these cercustances what we can do there is no power cut in opposite bengali colony and the gallis which are behind why is that these 2 gallis are always under power cuts for extra long howers and there is no solution to our sorrows pls suggest and help us ans local complain center dosent listens to us

                                      Dear Sir / Madam,

                                      I would like to bring in your knowledge that a cycle shop which is being run in the name of Shafi Cycle works addressed, L- 113/A Dilshad garden, Delhi -95 has been noticed by the inhabitants and passengers for a long has neither got a commericial meter connection nor a proper domestic connection is used for the purpose yet . He (the shop keeper ) uses a hook (illegal wire connection direct from the post line ) to keep on running a heavy compressor, due to it we are facing a lot problems as flectuations, sparkigs and voltage variations etc. we are requesting you to consider it and take a strong action to stop this violation and theft. we shall be very great full to you .

                                      one mr.Mannan Belief live in mumbai, nagpada, 79./81 temker street, has illigally posses the some rooms which is belongs to mahada, he is not having meter for light, he is a very strong relation with local criminals and no budy has to go against him, has use illigally electricity direct from meter of another building which is nearly located,
                                      i has allready complaint in local police station but there is no action taken
                                      pls tell me where i have to go for make complaint for those you take strong action, because this guy using this current from last 10-11 years

                                      No supply of Electricity from 30 hours

                                      From last 30 hours there is no supply in Harsh vihar delhi - 93, no body is there to pick call since 30 hours have gone, i request you to kindly look this in to matter as it is a serious concern otherwise i have to file RTI against BSES

                                        Hello, Respected Sir
                                        I deepak puri wants to register the complaint for automatically disconnection of electricity meter on february, 2, 2009. It is a commercial meter(2 K/W) installed at 862/14, Block L-1st, Asthal Mandir Road, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi - 110062. Please rectify the meter as soon as possible.

                                        I Ummed SIngh Rautela want to register the complaint for jumping of electricity meter. On using only two fans it consumes 6 to 7 units of electrity. Sometimes even jumps. It is installed at B -264, Nanakpura, New Delhi - 110021. Please check & rectify the meter as soon as possible.
