Around 10 days before I booked a ticket for my family using redbus app and I got a confirmed ticket.
The bus operator cancelled the ticket in another 2 days and no update provided to me by both redbus and travel agent.
On the day of boarding at 11:00 p.m. I was denied boarding.
The reason given by bus operator is that the ticket I booked is of lower fare and when they got high fare amount for that ticket they cancelled my ticket and sold it for higher price.
On other side, redbus who is responsible for my booking simply said they got nothing to do. They are neither responsible for cancellation nor they are responsible for providing an alternative ticket.
In mid-night I was left alone on the road with my wife and kids without any help from redbus.
It is not acceptable to cancel someone ticket just for selling that ticket for a higher fare. It is the responsibility of redbus to give me a properly reply for this and to provide compensation for all the hard times I dealt with. Was this information helpful? |
