[Resolved] Redbus — Cancellation refused

We booked two sleeper tickets from tuticorin to coimbatore in avs travels yesterday. We wanted to postpone our travel hence requested cancellation. Red bus refused saying cancellation time is closed in the morning itself. Then it should not have allowed us to book tickets in the first place. I request refund of rs.1100/- i paid. When i contacted the bus service to cancel, they say they cannot do it since i have done reservation through redbus. We book tickets online for essential travel. If it has to be postponed it has to be done, is it not.? Why would anyone waste hard earned money.?

The cancellation policy is set by the bus operators. The cancellation policy can be viewed while selecting seat or before the check out page. The ticket cannot be cancelled if the cancellation policy is expired. We hope this clarifies.
