I am writing this email to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the refund for a cancelled bus reservation. On 26/03/2023, I booked a bus ticket with Ticket No. TS4S3446113 with PNR 48D652RZ for a journey from Guwahati (Beltola Charali) to Dibrugarh on the same day at 7.15 PM. The bus was confirmed by PRAGNYA (UNDER ASTC) via Redbus.
However, I was informed by the driver on call that the bus had been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. I was disappointed to hear this as I had planned my trip around this reservation. I was then told by the PRAGNYA team that cancellation of my ticket by the bus authority would not be possible at that moment but a refund would be initiated for the cancellation by the PRAGNYA team; although bus cancellation was not mentioned on the Redbus website. Later, when I asked about the refund, I was informed that it was not possible to process the refund, but I would receive the refund later. I have been waiting for the refund for a long time, but I have not received it yet. This has caused me a lot of inconveniences and financial loss. I would like to request that you kindly look into this matter and update me on the status of the refund. I believe it is your responsibility to ensure that customers are not inconvenienced in this way.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to receive a favourable resolution soon.Thank you.
