Redbus provides an offer by name tripReward whereby a customer can book 4 bus tickets in the buses which provides this offer and the 5th ticket will be free as per the offer. I have booked 4 bus tickets in Intrcity smart bus and I got messages, pop-ups saying my next trip is free. I have attached a screenshot when I tried to book another bus on 29th November wherein it says book after 30th November for free ticket. Then the ticket charge was less that Rs.1800/-. When I opened the Redbus App today to book the free ticket, the ticket charge was more than Rs.4000 and I was shocked to know that I just got a discount of Rs.525 for booking the free ticket. I don't understand how a free ticket means just Rs.525/- when the ticket charge is Rs.4139. I have attached the screen shot of the seat selection page where the charges are visible and the boarding point selection page where the amount to be paid is shown as Rs.3614/-.
This is clear cheating. They ought have clearly said an offer of Rs.525 or a percentage of the ticket charges. Instead Redbus was giving an offer of free ticket to make customers book 4 bus tickets through their App.
It is beyond herculean task to reach Redbus customercare. Chatting option in the app is available once in a bluemoon. All the customer care numbers provided by Redbus in this Forum are also invalid.
Pray for compensation of Rs.4000 or a free ticket as offered by Redbus and also stop them from giving such deceptive offers. Was this information helpful? |
