[Resolved] Redbus — late arrival of bus | |
I was travelling from bhilwara to jaipur on august 23rd, 2017 to catch a flight which was on august 24, 2017. I booked a bus on redbus website whose arrival time was 1:35 am on august 24. The bus got late by 1.5 hrs even though there was no traffic. It reached jaipur at 3:15 and i lost my flight. On august 23rd evening i called the redbus consumer care to confirm the arrival time as the local bus agent told that bus would reach late in any case. The redbus customer care rep was in a conference call organised by me with the bus operator. I had him listen the whole conversation. He assured me that except anything like traffic or unnatural circumstance the bus won't get late. I filed a complaint in http://consumerhelpline.gov.in, complaint no - 402401. They rejected my plea of reimbursing the flight ticket amount which i missed because of 1.5 hour delayed arrival of bus and case was closed. Was this information helpful? | |

Since it is because of your incorrect time display I lost my flight and had to immediately get a new flight. I need a refund for my flight tickets as well. I had involved your call centre rep in a conference call and the local agent of the bus service himself was confirming that bus will get delayed (not because of traffic). Your call centre rep was still with his words that bus won't get late. This is the second time this has happened with me on red bus. I had earlier also complained in consumer portal for which you refunded a modest amount in red bus wallet which I had to mandatory consume within 3 months.
