[Resolved] Redbus — made me pay for their website error and claims there was no mistake. | |||||
When i was booking a ticket i got below error on website page and it did not show ticket. Since i trusted their website i went ahead and re-booked ticket via different travels but i used same email id and phone number and same bank account for transaction. "dear g, We are sorry your ticket could not be booked! What next? Your money will be refunded by redbus in next 1 hour. We will send you an email/sms with more details on your refund status - ref no.[protected]. You will receive the money in next 2-7 working days depending on your mode of payment. " Since i did not get refund i called customer care to find what had happened. And they blamed me that i did not them on the same day (Damn who would've thought the website would do such mistake after using for 10 years) and he apologized and said he cant do anything and there is no escalation too (Wow thats bad for such huge website they have no intention in solving customers problems) I tried to contact them by writing an email (Another shock here is cant even enter more 120 characters how can someone explain everything in 120 chars i'm not tweeting dude.) then and i got an email saying "thank you for contacting redbus regarding the ticket number tm3x55475450. As per the update received from the concerned department, we confirm that there was no error while booking your ticket. The ticket was booked as per the request received from you online. Hence we are sorry to state that we will not be able to process your request for the same. It has been a pleasure serving you today. Thanks for choosing redbus and have a great day ahead.
