I had booked a bus from Redbus mobile app from New Delhi to Rudarpur on 10th Feb 2022. After booking I called the travelling company and got some information about the dropping point.
And I was told that the bus will reach at Rudarpur bus stand not at Rampur bus station. (I also wanted the same)
I reached at the pickup place at R K Ashram marg Metro station on the scheduled time at 9 Pm on 15/02/2022.
But when I called the bus authority, I was told that they do not have any service for Rudarpur.
So I called the helpline number of Redbus.
Then I was connected to another bus service provider on conference and I was directed to reach at Anand vihar bus terminal and board another bus without any payment. I was also provided a contact no. on which I called and got response that I will have to pay for the seat.
So I tried to cancel the earlier booked ticket from the app but the app was showing that the bus had left and I could not cancel it.
Now I was left with only the option of paying for the seat in the bus having registration no. UP22 AT 1392.
I have serious concern about the first bus service (Swagatam Holiday) for their totally unprofessional approach and also the inconvenience which I had to face due to Redbus.
I also strongly recommend Redbus to take any action against Swagatam Holiday and pay my refund asap as I had to pay twice. Was this information helpful? |
