[Resolved] Redbus — partial cancellation & no intimation at time of booking | |||||
Dear Sir We are four o[censored]s scheduled to travel from Chennai to Rameshwaram - on 18/05/2018. Ticket no : TM[protected]. Out of the 4 passenger one passenger - Radha Balaji is unable to travel on account of medical reasons. Therefore we approached their call center for help - in the 1st place their IVR does not help us properly ... when we attempted to connect to their call center executive to explain - it want going thru. Their IVR options does not permit / allow partial cancellation . Either entire ticket of all 4 passenger or none. This in my view is a very important information for some one buying the ticket. This information should be available / passenger should be aware before booking their ticket. This was not known to us. Secondly get across to their call center executive is tougher task - after trying for more than an hour i could speak with Arun - their call center executive. After all credential verification - he tells me the same thing that their stated ... i had requested for his senior whom i can speak with and take help - he refused to connect, The experience has been pathetic, no human dimension associated and completely misleading. Whilst when we spoke with the operator for this service - we were informed that if we had booked tickets directly with the operator he can help in cancellation partially...but since we had done it thru redbus - he cant help us we have connect only with redbus. We would like to inform you that partial cancellation is not allowed for the mentioned bus operator and the cancellation policy is already expired so we won't be able to cancelled the ticket (TM[protected]). Upon checking, for the mentioned ticket (TM[protected]) bus is cancelled and we have processed the refund in your bank account on May 18, 2018 and the same will reflect within 7 working days as per banking procedure.
