I have booked my bus ticket via redbus (Royal bus, ticket number: tn[protected]] from kumily to bangalore on 23rd april 2019. I was waiting at the boarding point before half an hour and called the contact, which is provided in the message thrice, and the reply was to wait in the bus stop. However, after half an hour when i tried reaching the number they are not picking the call and the gps says the bus was passed the bus stop. I called the redbus customer care and informed about the same. They are clueless replying, as they were sorry and advised me to take alternate option, as they cannot help. I waited so long in the bus stop and at very late night find some solution for travel and i paid ending double charge for the ticket.
The next day i called again the redbus customer care and explained again the same and asked for the refund and they said the case was escalated to investigation team and after 3 days the reply was horrible. The bus was on time and there are 28 passengers boarded from the bus stop, which is completely wrong and this exactly says the redbus support is only to justify the bus operators and not at all customer friendly.
There is no ways for a validation or verification that the customer who has booked the bus ticket via redbus has beed boarded in the bus or not. The bus operator will decide whether they need to board the redbus customers. If there is a festival season or a long weekend they will accept the booking, take money from you and they will not allow you to travel. They will sell the same ticket to others with higher price, and redbus still try to justify the operators fault and take customers money and will not refund. Was this information helpful? |
