[Resolved] Redbus — Redbus does not refund when the Bus driver stranded me on the road | |||
Omar Travel : Banglaore to Hyderabad : Ticket# : TG4Q68296628I I reached 8:30 PM at the boarding point in marathahalli, as I have carton box of clothes thats of a size of an average suitcase. The driver demanded Rs. 500/- for the box as we are only allowed to carry a suitcase or bag. As the size of the box is within the limits, I demanded the reason why I have to pay such a huge amount. While other passengers supported my cause and requested him, he was adamant that I pay for the amount and when I denied, he left me stranded on the road. I had to go through the pain of getting back home with the luggage in an auto. Am deeply disturbed with this incident. I wrote to redBus as their responsibilities include : (3) Providing customer support and information in case of any delays / inconvenienceI kindly request you to take action against this operator and arrange for immediate and complete refund of my ticket !! But redbus responded : As per the discussion with the team, we clarify that they have denied refund claiming that RTO officials had not allowed the customer to carry the luggage and that was the reason the customer was not allowed to the bus with the luggage. I don't know where did the RTO officials come in the story when it was only bus driver who denied me from boarding without paying him Rs. 500. Was this information helpful? | |||
