[Resolved] Redbus — refund of cancelled ticket not getting transferred | |
I booked a ticket 2 months ago, the bus operator cancelled the service few hours prior to the bus departure. The full amount was processed for refund. I called up redbus to get an option of refund through other process as the card i used is been closed. Redbus clearly said the only other option is wallet and i have to use it within 6 months. That too for my money which they don't have any other option to revert back. Why should a company tell me that i have to use this much amount in this time period and that too using their platform only just because they fail to refund it. And the only thing i can do using the amount is either book a bus, hotel or recharge a prepaid account. I don't have any use of these services provided by them. That is definitely not the customer experience we wanted to deliver. On checking we see that refund has been processed back to payment source on 4th October 2019 and refund will reflect in your account within 2 to 7 business days.
