[Resolved] Redbus — ticket cancellation option | |||
Redbus, please understand buses are the third option for a customer after train or flight to travel. So, keeping that in mind - i could not find tickets in flight or train so opted for bus for very known reason, too many buses. I booked the ticket the evening before my travel date after all my other options were exhausted. I had an emergency meeting on the day of travel so, i wanted to cancel my ticket. Good lord, i cannot cancel my ticket because its less than 24 hours of travel. Please keep this in mind, i have booked ticket few hours ago and that is within 24 hours. Psb for my details: Ticket number - tn5w82288853 Booking time - 9:56pm (30th april'19) Date of travel - 3:00pm (1st may'19) I wanted to cancel the ticket at 1am of 1st may - i was clearly declined by the callcenter support team who were so harsh and blunt. All they stated is the policy mentioned. But understand that there has to be an intimation to customer that tickets cancelled after this time would have no refund. I pay so much money and get nothing in return except the harsh behavior o[censored]nruly staff. All i am condemning is why isnt there an alert system which would tell the customer that post this time, the ticket would not be refunded. And i want my money to be refunded because this has happened earlier too, then it was told that its 12 hours back up. Now, its 24 hours. I am totally disappointed with this kind of service. But the cancellation charges depend on the time of the journey. They do not depend on the time of booking. The cancellation policy for each bus is pre-determined by the bus operator depending on date and time of the journey. These policies are promptly displayed on our web/app, so that customers can make an informed decision. We are sorry to inform you that the operators do not allow the cancellations after the cancellation policy expires. Your kind understanding in this matter is much appreciated.
