[Resolved] Redbus — unethical behavior and amount not refunded | |||||
I tried to book tickets from redbus website but unfortunately due to some technical glitch the tickets were not generated and amount got debited from my account twice (For the same seat) i. E rs. 1016. I asked them to refund money the same day but they said it is not possible. This incident happened on 3rd of november and when i saw that they did not respond for a long time or even bothered to contact me for the same, i called them on 7th november. On response to my call they said the auto refund failed so we will have to initiate the neft. Shouldn't it had been their duty to contact me and inform that the auto refund has failed and ask me to provide them with my account details! Since then i have tried calling them couple of times asking for refund but every time they ask me to wait for 7 days. On 15th november they refunded rs. 508 and when i asked for the refund of the rest of the amount they asked me to wait for another 7 days. Now half of the november month has passed and still the amount hasn't been refunded. Due to this incident i have already wasted a lot of time, money plus i was also not able to focus on my work. Now, i expect an instant refund and an additional compensation for the lack of support and unethical behavior on their part and the time that i wasted on focusing on all this along with being stressed out.
