There is no power at my residence since the last 7 hours(i.e. from 5 AM 19th June) and the Reliance Energy customer care number[protected] is not working, so I am not able to file a complaint. I also called the local number[protected], but nobody is anwering there. Reliance Energy Account Number :[protected] Address : B-302, Poonam Jewel Society, Poonam Nagar, Andheri East.

      Since yesterday (9th Jun, 2015), 3 times power has been switched on and off in our area (new MHADA, Jankalyan Nagar, Malad(W). This causes damage to our electrical equipment. The duration of cuts are from 1 min to 1 hour. These kinds of cuts happen in every 15-20 days. I suspect some temporary solution is applied to the problem in our area. This sudden power cuts causing lots of inconvenience in this hot season and also to people who do computer based business. Please provide a permanent fix to frequent cuts in our area as it is also part of metropolitan Mumbai.

        Hi, My Name is Smita Magare. Account no[protected] Mahendra Salunke), from Andheri JB Nagar, i am upset with such kind of service and bills from Reliance Energy. It is continuously charging more than 2000 Rs every month which is not at all acceptable. Also there is huge difference in meter reading of each month. Please look after the matter or else better to opt for TATA. As i feel service n bills from TATA were better than Reliance.

          Dear sod, Just to inform you that your staff are maybe not punctual or are very laidback. I am at the kandivli west zonal office for my name change in the electricity bill we were here exactly at 12.27pm this afternoon and got a form by the gentlemen seated at the enquiry counter within 11mins i was done filling up the form and i went back to the gentlemen and asked him to assist me he further checked the application form and asked me to remain seated as the lunch time had started and he can entertain us only after 1.30pm so i quickly checked the time on my phone and it was just 12.43pm on questioning him that the lunch time starts at 1.00pm so why is he asking us to sit he had a very casual attitude and replied saying that your work would take a lot of time and we cannot waste our employees lunch time further to which I questioned him again saying that there is still time for the lunch break and few of the staff were sitting free and 2 of them were even talking over the phone. So he just directed me towards the sofa and asked me to remain seated. I understand that the staff's lunch time is important but even we have other work in life and even our time is important i had to waste that 15mins which could have been utilised and i would have atleast spoken to the staff and shared my concern which could have saved my time. But everyone out here has got a very casual attitude towards work i maybe work but that's just what i could see and further thought of bringing under your notice

            Hi, I’m Sadashiv Shetty. My electricity account number is[protected]. My complaint is about the high electricity bill we've received for the month of December 2014, January, February, March and April 2015. My electricity account number is[protected]. The problem started from December, when Reliance energy started billing my energy bill based on estimated reading. We’ve very few appliances at home i.e. fan, tube light, T.V, mixer. However, as only my wife (56 years old) stays at home, so the fan is the only appliance used most of the time. The appliances we use at home are all energy efficient. Our TV consumes only 45 watts and so do our fan. Our tube light consumes energy between 25 to 30 watt. However, in December and January was very cool this time, so we have hardly used the fan as well. But the billing team from the Reliance energy team billed us continuously to estimated readings of 100 units each month from December 2014 to April 2015. When I enquired them they stated that there was a black circle appeared on the screen due to which the meter is faulty. You can check it in the photo I’ve attached (Photo 0008). However, I can say this confidently that our meter was recording our usage accurately. They have then booked an appointment in February 2015 to replace the meter but it took them nearly two months to replace the meter. They said that the meter will be checked in their lab and after that they will bill our account accordingly on basis of the test result. I don’t know whether they actually conducted any test or just trying to fool the customer by saying that. I hoped that they will send me an accurate bill, but this did not happen. They again estimated the closing reading of the old meter by another 100 units. I have taken the photos of the old meter, one in February 2015 and another photo in March 2015. I’ve attached it below for your reference. Please find the date of the photos taken below: Photo0008 – 19 February 2015 Photo0014 – 17 March 2015 The Reliance billing team has billed us for 100 units each month from December 2014 to April 2015. However, after the meter was exchanged on 8 April 2015 with a new meter, the reading was 000000. I’ve attached the photo (Photo0002). To the surprise of Reliance Energy, our reading as on 8 May 2015 was 000067. I’ve taken another photo of our meter on 2 June 2015 and the reading was 000141. I’ve attached the photo (Photo0015). Even after being so hot in April and May 2015, our average usage for both this month is around 71 watt. However, the Reliance team has estimated our bills with 100 units o[censored]sage even in the winter season i.e. for December and January 2015. This is very unfair as I’ve to pay for the energy which I never used in the first place. I’ll still stick to the point that our old meter was not faulty and I’ve been billed incorrectly to very high estimated readings. I contacted the Reliance customer care team on many occasions but I’m of the opinion that only deaf, dumb and blind people work there. If you want I can forward the email conversations, I had with the Reliance energy team. My reading as on 17 March 2015 was 009171 and I want the Reliance billing team to send me an amended bill with the final reading of 9231 aprox for 8 April 2015. Unfortunately I’ve not noted the closing reading of the old meter because the engineer who came to replace the meter at the property did not cared to inform us and instead replaced the meter directly. By the time I realized and went at the meter box to check, the engineer was fitting the new meter. When enquired about the reading on the old meter, he said they will send it to the lab and they will check the meter. I’m so tired and so annoyed and so help less by the service that I’ve received for the last few months from Reliance energy team that I feel so sad for being their customer. It is really not the way to treat a genuine customer. I hope you bring justice to my issue. Thanks & regards Sadashiv Shetty

              Dear sir My account number is[protected] under the name S.D Kadam. I want to complaint regarding the extra ordinary high bill amount. I shifted in this house in August 2014. My electricity units were 715 units. In month of May'15 my units were 1257 units and my bill amount is Rs 11900. I recently asked my neighbour who uses more electrical appliances than me with an air conditioner but his bill amount is Rs around Rs 4000. I want to make complaint regarding the same. I want your executive to check my electric meter. I called your customer care centre in the morning and said that there will be an outgoing call but I never received a outgoing call. I again tried to connect in the evening and spoke to Baba but even he didn't forwarded my call. I contacted at 10.00 pm and spoke to Ganesh Taikwad but again there was no response from your side. I must say you have the worst customer care service at your end. If you are really inclined to serve and help your customers, the contact me ASAP. I want my issue to be resolved as soon as you can.                 Hi In the city like mumbai, Where electricity plays an important role, Local goons are supplying illegal electricity in Shivaji Nagar, Govandi Mumbai 400043 at Road no 4, 5, 6 (Plot no: 21, 22, 23, 38, 43). Moreover this illegal trading happens under the nose of local corporator and police. People are forced to pay money whether they use the illegal electricity or not. I want to raise this issue and I knew many mumbaikars has raised this too. Request you to raise this concern to the respective officer of the Reliance Enegergy. This will not only stop the people harassment BUT ALSO SAVE ELECTRICITY.

                  Yesterday 31st May, there were power cuts twice; once from 1.30 PM till 5.30 PM and then again late in the night from 1.15 AM to 2.45 AM. This is the 5th time in the last 2 months that we are facing such extended power supply cut issue. To add to our agony, the Customer service of Reliance is seriously pathetic. The staff is not only ill mannered but also never have any update on the status. All that they say is power will be restored in 1.5 hours and the second excuse given is transformer is burnt. How many times in a month does the transformer burn???? As a customer who always pays bills on time, I wish to know what is the actual issue with this phase and how soon will it be permanently rectified?

                        Hello, Account number[protected] I am staying here for the last one year and I never got electricity bill more than Rs 2600/ month. In this march moth I was not at home for 10 days and still I got a bill of Rs 5460. This is ridiculous. Sudden hike in the electricity bill. These guys are making fake bills.                           Sir iamanantram bhat here from plot no 3 road no rRSC 12 sector 2 charkop kandivali west mumbai for temporary basis v have allowed to give connection to our adjoining plot to yr company because the then in the rainy season digging work not allowed by bmc . The period comlited 4 months before still connection is there we have some problum in our miter board we have to tepriparary pair nq rainy season . Now a days this problem is continue. Whenever the power supply goes, it won't come on the same day. In this summer season how could we leave without electricity.                               Respected Sir, When I purchased my new flat in Resale, I had paid Rs.2040 as a Security Deposit for my Reliance Energy Meter (Account Number[protected], Contract Number[protected], Document Number - [protected]) on 3rd December 2011. Still Reliance Energy in it's latest March 2015 Bill is saying that they have only Rs.490 as my Security Deposit available with them & they are asking me to pay Rs.440 as a Balance Security Deposit payable. Please find attached screenshots for your reference.Kindly note that till date none of my Bills was overdue & all Bills were paid well in time. Also note that time being I have paid Rs.440 which they have asked for. I request you to look into this matter on urgent basis & do the needful as early as possible.

                                Dear Team, I am facing lots of problems with my electricity bills, i think i am being billed for electricit i am not using . I visited MIDC office and logged the complaint - [protected] on 13th Nov 2014. Electrician visited and checked for 2 mins and informed my family that meter is ok, switch to Tata. I visited last saturday also but they refused to take my complaint. I am confident that my electricity is very minimum.                                   We have been receiving call on our land line once in 2 or 3 mnths ...regarding sum or the other verification. ..today I received a call at 4 .15 stating call is from reliance and wld like to speak to my husband on whose name our bill is registered. ..on mentioning that m his wife pls discuss the matter the staff refused and repeated they want to speak to my husband. ...I insisted call to b trfd to senior who was sum ajay srivastav when I said this is not a tym to call it's afternoon he mentioned he has all rights to call customer anytym. ...how would we knw authencity that he was from reliance ...then when I didn't wish to reply he threatened on disconnection of our line ...He was calling from vashi. ..is this kind of ppl representing RELIANCE. ...very unethical. ...look into this matter urgently ...will appreciate a revert. ...contact [protected] Beena chile

                                    Dear sir/mam, Despite making several calls and complaints the electricity in my premise and neighbouring house is not there. The complaint no. for each complaint made are :- #79809 on 26/03/15, #84795 made on 27/03/15 and #87659 on 28/03/15. The some of reference no.'s are 84194, 84433, 87041. For each of my previous two complaints there was a false report made by your technical department. No technician has come to our premises, contacted us or any action taken to rectify the problem. There is no electricity from past 2 days and your pathetic team of workers are careless about people problem. The situation is worse because no support from your end is provided. I suggested and asked for an alternative or temporary supply if there is a major problem but there is still no help. Hoping for help from your group of technicians is stupid till an action against them is made. Immediate attention to this is needed.

                                    STREET LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING

                                    Let me tell you that our street lights are not working.Its very difficult to walk through that area during the night time.I request you to take the action as soon as possible.

                                      Dear Sir/ Madam, This is to bring your kind notice that there is a power failure in our premises and neighbouring houses from 26/03/15 @2pm . I made a call referring my account no. [protected] and made the complaint for the same. The complaint no. is 79809. I am sorry to say there is no rectification from your technical end yet. Every time I get the same reply that we are looking for the problem which is going on from yesterday and no technician has visited us for looking the problem.                                       36 hours now without electricity and still counting. No technical person has came to our area to solve our problem. I have called the customer care several times and detailed them of our problem but they could only tell us to wait. Previously they told by 5pm we will get our electricity and then extending it to 9pm.
                                      Our houses are not even provided with temporary connections. A new complaint no. (84795) was made by me on 9pm and the customer care told the technician will visit within 90 mins. Can you even calculate the time, pathetic service and pathetic technician who is nowhere to be seen. I know this message will also go unseen. Reliance energy services are now *worse.

                                        I have submitted my application on 17/03/2015. My order no was generated as [protected] . I was told by reliance officials that a reliance engineer would come to visit and prepare a visit report and My electricity meter would be installed in a weeks time. It has been more than a week but no progress from their side. It has been frustrating since with no electricity I m living in dark. Those Reliance Guys are Lazy Pathetic creatures.Their customer service is really worst. Reliance is the Worst company. The whole Mumbai is suffering since the BEST was overtaken by Reliance.

                                        I have submitted my application on 17/03/2015. My order no was generated as [protected] . I was told by reliance officials that a reliance engineer would come to visit and prepare a visit report and My electricity meter would be installed in a weeks time. It has been more than a week but no progress from their side. It has been frustrating since with no electricity I m living in dark.
                                        Those Reliance Guys are Lazy Pathetic creatures.Their customer service is really worst. Reliance is the Worst company.
                                        The whole Mumbai is suffering since the BEST was overtaken by Reliance.
