Reliance Petroleum — digital payment electronic device fraud

Dear sir/ madam,

On 10 april 2018 at around 09:40 am i went to reliance petroleum fuel station situated on nagpur to butibori highway, after waiting some minutes in the queue it was my turn of filling diesel to my diesel car no. “mh31-ea-5937” the fuel pump attendant asked me the payment mode, i told him my preference the debit card payment and to fill diesel of inr 1001/-, but he ordered me to pay in advance as i chose the debit card payment, then he (The fuel pump attendant) took my debit card, swiped the card in his digital payment electronic device & asked me to enter the security pin, i did the same, an amount of inr 1001/- deducted/debited from my account, immediately i received the text sms from my bank server, but the fuel pump attendant did something suspicious with his electronic device just before the “transaction successful” message appears, which resulted in the electronic device displaying “payment declined”. I was pretty much sure that he did something trickery with his electronic device either knowingly or negligently, but i lost my inr 1001/- which is still held with them as i did not received any refund to my bank account.

Even then i paid them the second inr 1001/- i. E. Total 2002/- and received fuel of only 1001/-, this complaint is for the amount inr 1001/- which i lost with that fuel station of reliance petroleum, and the agony and expenses i suffered during my revisit to that fuel station, but they are denying to reimburse me. Additional details as under:
