Reliance Trends — staff behaviour

Dear concern,

I have a complaint against one of the store sales staff during the billing period today[protected]. We (Me and wife) have visited the newly opened store in our town (Address below). And purchased a shirt and saree.

And i have asked the cashier staff (Salesman id:[protected] arun) whether the purchase could be returned if the size was not ok. He said yes it can be returned within 1 month if the tag is intact.

By the way, back home we realized that it was a half sleeve shirt we have purchased and it should be full-sleeve. So immediately we returned to the store and informed the same to (Salesman id:[protected] arun). He said that it can't be taken back as it was coming under offer price. I was not convinced and told the same thing to another sales staff. He was aware of the pricing and details better than the (Salesman id:[protected] arun). So he said 'sorry sir it was a mistake and can be returned)

So we approached to the billing counter and one of the sales representatives was preparing the paperwork for the return process and i have noticed (Salesman id:[protected] arun) was laughing at us but i didn't take that seriously. It took some time to complete the return process. And we went again to bill the new replacement shirt which was done by (Salesman id:[protected] arun) by the time i was asking about the price and more details about the exchange.

He was giving us a silly and funny careless answer and forced to do the billing at the time he was smiling at some other non-staff (Maybe his friend, who was there standing near him for so long which was not by business though) as if we are i was something stupid or dumb.

It might be a silly or wrong query i asked him about the price. But he was not supposed to tease or making fun of me publicly. Feels so insulted by an unprofessional who don't know how to behave with customers. I have been to a lot of outlets in many places bangalore, chennai, kozhikode. This is the very first time i faced this kind of mis behavior from a sales staff. Hope you will address this.
